  1. Hi PrestburyJack, The eras are shown on each product page, but a more in depth summary is below. Cheers, Dave
  2. Hi all, It's been tough to resist temptation to announce this project (and the Beilhacks) early on here, but we're now at the stage at which we can confirm the following project is in production. 50 Ton bogie well 'Warwell' wagon in OO and O gauges All the information on both models is available at www.hattons.co.uk/warwell however the basics are Tooling covering both 'as built' and refurbished variations, as well as BR modifications for steel and rail carrying (BR mods are OO gauge only). Heavy Diecast bodyshell, separately fitted details and specific decoration with lots of liveries covered. Release in Q4 2017 for OO shortly followed by O gauge. Pricing at £33 - 37 for OO, £85 for O. Let us know what you think! Cheers, Dave www.hattons.co.uk/warwell
  3. Hi all, As well as the Warwell, we're now at the stage at which we can confirm the following project is in production. 'Beilhack' ZZA bogie snowplough Full information is available at www.hattons.co.uk/beilhack however the basics are Tooling covering both ex-Class 40 and Class 45 bogies. Heavy Diecast bodyshell, separately fitted details including solar panels and specific decoration with lots of liveries covered. Release in Q1 2018 Priced at £43.00 each. Let us know what you think! Cheers, Dave www.hattons.co.uk/beilhack
  4. Regarding the other nine releases, I'd like to say thanks for sharing the various photos and info they have so far. It's great to see just how far they're spreading their wings and the 'mods' being done to them including renaming and numbering. Cheers, Dave
  5. Hi all, Just a quick notification RE the delivery of the BR J94 68012 (J9403). We received our supply of these locomotives with the second batch of austerities earlier in September however these have been produced fitted with round buffers rather than oval as specified. I'm sorry that we couldn't release this info sooner however we had to resolve the issue before we could make this public. I can confirm the locos are currently on the way back to China to be reworked to the correct specification however this will result in a delay in the models being released. We haven't got an exact date for this as of yet (although we're expecting them back towards the end of the year), we'll be keeping everyone who has an email against their pre-order or notifications updated as and when we get the latest news. Please accept our apologies for this however we did not want to cause more disappointment by providing a model that is not correct to specification. If you've any queries regards orders you may have, please get in touch via the usual channels. Cheers, Dave
  6. Hi All Regarding spares, there will not be any available to 'buy'. They are just to replace any parts that arrive damaged or missing or which develop a fault within normal use of the locomotive as per the warranty. Due to their limited nature we cannot send out parts for people to modify our (or anyone else's) models. As stated before, if we end up with a lot of spares after the models have sold out then we may consider releasing them for sale but this will not be possible at the moment. Hope this clears things up a bit. Cheers Dave
  7. Hi All Just to clarify about the spares situation. The sheet is included to identify faulty or missing parts from the locomotives, we will not be able to sell them as parts for anyone who has not purchased the model. We do not get many spares of some items and we feel we need to help anyone who may have a problem with theirs. I know some on here have expressed an interest in buying bodies etc but we will not be able to facilitate this at this stage. If we find we are left with lots of a particular spare in the future this may change but for the time being we cannot supply these. Thanks for the suggestion about the cab phil-b259, we will have a look into putting this on. Cheers
  8. Hi All We have just produced the instructions for the 14xx and thought we would let you have a quick look before we publish them. Is there anything else you would like to see in them? Let us know. Cheers Dave
  9. Hi all, As a few of you have seen at Fareham and in Dave's own 71 thread, we've now had the decorated samples for our Golden Arrow exclusives. The BR blue version will have the fixed arrows at one end only as per the real locomotive. The BR green version will come with both headboards attached, and the BR blue version with one end attached (although a second headboard will be included in the detailing pack). Release is now looking before Christmas as Dave has advised that the locomotives are going into production imminently. http://www.hattons.co.uk/goldenarrow Cheers, Dave
  10. Hi all, I'm afraid it's still a rumour. I've checked all over my desk this morning and can't find them (and I've even looked under the drawings of the Fell locomotive I've got laid out currently :-) ) Seriously, the first EPs should be with us from Oxford Rail shortly and, as soon as we receive them I'll post on here as well as on our own website listings. Cheers, Dave
  11. Hi all, We've not got an exact date as of yet, but as soon as we do I'll let everyone know. At the moment we've no plans to repeat the locos in N gauge as we're focusing on our other forthcoming releases including the 14xx's, Kings and ICI hoppers in OO, and the A3/A4/Teaks in O. Cheers, Dave
  12. Rumour mill only I'm afraid. First EPs are still under development by Oxford Rail. Cheers Dave,
  13. It had to be done! https://www.flickr.com/photos/12a_kingmoor_klickr/5773542048/ Cheers, Dave
  14. Hi Chris, all the photos on our listings have been amended to show models 'as produced' and this is as they will be supplied, with the exception of J9403. Hope that helps! Cheers, Dave
  15. Hi all, The remaining five industrial variants are now in stock, with the 'Cromford version' J9403 coming shortly. Cheers, Dave
  16. Hi all, Yep, I've set the date back on our system for these this morning. We're now getting the weathering masters sorted (via Mercig, as per the Austerities) and locos should go into production shortly after this. Cheers, Dave
  17. Hi 9402, The remaining releases should arrive with us on Monday and will be available for purchase once they've all been checked over - Wednesday is a likely date. Cheers, Dave
  18. Hi all, We have received revised samples from DJ models with new, larger, plates which completely fit the recess and are completely straight. We are now happy with how they look and there are just a few minor things to get right before we can go ahead with them. We are also sorting out the weathering masters and will show them when we have them. Rest assured, neither us nor DJ models will accept any numberplates fitted incorrectly.
  19. Hi John We are aware of this problem and we are working to sort it. In the meantime there are 2 ways of using Paypal on the website: 1. Use the guest checkout where the option appears at the very end of the checkout process. This does mean your order will not be able to be tracked on the website. 2. Add a card to your account (must be a valid card) before you place your order. Then, when you get to the payment section when you are logged in, Paypal will be an option. You can remove the card again after the order is complete. I hope either of these options help you to access the Paypal payment. If you have any more issues please do not hesitate to contact us through the usual channels. Cheers Dave
  20. Pretty much a historical photo now I'm afraid! We've just set up this new gizmo to help with packing orders. I couldn't find the DCC socket though? Cheers, Dave
  21. Hi all, Hoping you don't mind me straying from my usual role of providing updates RE our Commissioned Models but I wanted to make sure you got a direct response. John, please accept my apologies for the inconsistencies with the info you've been provided. As I can't see you exact details (I'm not on the ordering side of the office!) I can't say exactly why what has happened has happened, but its definitely not what we intend to do. This applies to 'Gwiwer' and 'Irishmail' too, as well as those of you who may have experienced similar but not commented. 'Irishmail' - we have made some minor changes to our PayPal system, if you're still having issues please give us a call or an email and we'll guide you through it. We do have full order tracking with each order and Pre-order having a unique reference (if you ever want to have a look, it'll be the 7 digit number on your paperwork) so we can track your order by this or personal details. We are working on revamping our warehouse and dispatch operations this week. We have found that we've had an increase in orders this year and the time was right to streamline our operation to close the important gap between payment and receiving items, but there's no perfect time to do this. The plan is to complete this over the weekend with a return to form heading into the week ahead after which we will be back up to speed. I grabbed a quick photo when I first saw this thread at 10am, and the second is pretty much a 'live view'. If Team GB needed a 'Racking stacking' team I'm pretty sure we can provide it.... If anybody wants to query an order status (or any other matters!) please get in touch through the usual channels. Cheers, Dave
  22. Hi Terry, We've had a 'switch' on our product listings for a few months now which filters your search to new and forthcoming items only. The box will be in to the top right of your listings and is pre-set to show all stock, but can be unselected to filter Pre-Owned items out. Hope that helps! Cheers, Dave (edit - looks like I was beaten to it, thanks John!)
  23. Hi TTG A3006 & A3007 are to be fitted with the smoke deflectors. A3007 will also have the air pipes and warning flashes that Scotsman carries. Cheers Dave
  24. Hi Ryde The price quoted is the selling price that will be charged in 2018, there are no price changes for our exclusive commissions. Cheers Dave
  25. Hatton's & Heljan announce Class A3 & A4 locomotives and Gresley Teak coaches in O Gauge Images © Colour Rail & Hugh Llewlyn Record breaking steam locomotives have always conjured-up images of grand trains running at speed along sweeping mainlines. One of the best companies at setting, and breaking, records was the LNER. Two of Sir Nigel Gresley’s designs were synonymous for speed and records, the A3’s and A4’s, and both pacific classes have proved popular with the enthusiast and modeller alike. Hatton’s have commissioned seasoned O gauge manufacturer Heljan to produce a brand new model of both the A3 & A4 classes. They will cover the lifespan of both of these iconic classes including 4 tenders and different chimneys and domes (on the A3). They will be manufactured to Heljan’s usual high standard with ABS plastic body and heavy chassis containing a large can motor with brass flywheels. DCC will be catered for and haulage will be impressive, just as with the real thing. Delivery is expected mid 2018. Locomotive Specification: O gauge finescale wheels Easily accessible screw terminals for DCC in tender Fully painted and decorated bodyshells Chemically blackened wheels Separately fitted and blackened handrails Screw link couplings fitted to front bufferbeams Dummy buckeye coupling and separate screw link coupling for corridor tender bufferbeam 5 pole motor Motor in 'locomotive' section with motor in boiler and gears in firebox Fully detailed and painted cab interior Pipes fitted to bufferbeams Air pipes included in accessory pack for relevant preserved locos Mounting pieces for air pipes included for tenders Speaker enclosure in tender (no speaker included) Small, separately attached details Designed/constructed so that it is easy to remove the body from the chassis, without damaging any loco parts Correct chimney variant for livery/locomotive Turned brass whistles Smokebox door cover on A4 hinged with interior smokebox door behind it Etched number and LNER lettering on applicable models Open frames on A3 Inside valve gear (cosmetic) Sprung front bogie Water Scoop Sprung buffers Smokebox door dart separately fitted Etched Shed plate & separately fitted smokebox door numberplate where applicable Turned brass safety valves Drain cocks as separate detail All wheel pickup Weights within boiler for maximum adhesion Fluted connecting rods Oily finish to connecting rods Etched brass name plates Oil lubricators as separately fitted details No light above front bogie Connecting rods - correct thickness "stamped" rods Individual 'plates' on top of running board Easy to use electrical coupling between locomotive and tender A3 Code Title Dates Price Link A3001 Class A3 4-6-2 2750 “Papyrus” in LNER Grass green with unstreamlined corridor tender - “Record Breaker” 24/8/1934 - 27/11/1936 £750 Order here A3002 Class A3 4-6-2 4472 “Flying Scotsman” in LNER Grass green with unstreamlined corridor tender - “Record Breaker” 1970s-1980s £750 Order here A3003 Class A3 4-6-2 2745 “Captain Cuttle” in LNER black with unstreamlined non-corridor tender 22/07/1939 - 6/4/1945 £750 Order here A3004 Class A3 4-6-2 60072 “Sunstar” in BR Express blue with unstreamlined non-corridor tender 25/04/1951 - 5/6/1952 £750 Order here A3005 Class A3 4-6-2 60035 “Windsor Lad” in BR green with early crest and unstreamlined non-corridor tender 16/08/1951 - 19/06/1957 £750 Order here A3006 Class A3 4-6-2 60077 “The White Knight” in BR green with late crest and unstreamlined non-corridor tender 24/11/1960 - 1/2/1964 £750 Order here A3007 Class A3 4-6-2 60103 “Flying Scotsman” in BR green with late crest and unstreamlined corridor tender Current Preservation £750 Order here A4 Code Title Dates Price Link A4001 Class A4 4-6-2 2509 “Silver Link” in LNER silver with streamlined corridor tender 30/1/1936 - 6/12/1937 £750 Order here A4002 Class A4 4-6-2 4468 “Mallard” in LNER Garter blue with streamlined non-corridor tender - “Record Breaker” 3/7/1938 £750 Order here A4003 Class A4 4-6-2 4468 “Mallard” in LNER Garter blue with streamlined non-corridor tender As Preserved £750 Order here A4004 Class A4 4-6-2 4489 “Dominion of Canada” in LNER Garter blue with steel numbers/letters and unstreamlined corridor tender 2013 onwards £750 Order here A4005 Class A4 4-6-2 4464 “Bittern” in LNER Garter blue with streamlined corridor tender - "Record Breaker" 2012 onwards £750 Order here A4006 Class A4 4-6-2 60007 “Sir Nigel Gresley” in BR express blue with unstreamlined corridor tender - "Record Breaker" 1995 onwards £750 Order here A4007 Class A4 4-6-2 60012 “Commonwealth of Australia” in BR green with early crest and streamlined corridor tender 21/11/1952 - 18/07/1958 £750 Order here A4008 Class A4 4-6-2 60009 “Union of South Africa” in BR green with late crest and unstreamlined corridor tender 17/2/1960 onwards £750 Order here A4009 Class A4 4-6-2 60008 “Dwight D Eisenhower” in BR green with late crest and streamlined non-corridor tender 2012 onwards £750 Order here Teak coaches Image © Hugh Llewlyn These locomotives would not be complete without stock to run behind them. The most famous coaches both of these classes hauled were the Gresley Teaks and 3 of the type will be produced by Hatton’s and Heljan to compliment the locomotives.
