  1. My rendition of the LSWR’s incursion further into Cornwall to reach Fal Vale required a flat crossing of St Enodoc’s GWR Pentowan branch. This has been effected with the most courteous of operating practices, kindly illustrated by Mr Frederick Rowland Emett OBE.
  2. Selling up and making the move took more time than I thought. I now have one acre in the prettiest town in the Adelaide Hills and a house with a 7 by 6.4 metre garage (for Fal Vale to share with only one car) plus workshop attached. It also has a garden studio for modelling. Just need to finish a little redecorating and start back on the railway!!! Your work on St Enodoc puts my sloth-like progress to shame.
  3. I put one together a few years ago. Lots of filing - a marvellous result after all that, thanks to SigScribe. One day it will be installed as the Fal Vale south box.
  4. Decision was easy. The locomotive trials are a great excuse for both the dynamometer car and my somewhat eclectic collection of locomotives to be seen in deepest Cornwall, ex LSWR territory. And no problems with the Web site. Being in Australia the time zone helps!
  5. Mine arrived with the dome detached. I have recently moved house and have not had the opportunity to run it. I hope the detached dome is not a portent of other issues.
  6. It is about mathematics, and it shows up when I check my order status. It will take them some time to work through it all. This is not a complaint. I have had fantastic service from Kernow. I chose not to contact them because it would only to add to their workload.
  7. Unfortunately a side effect of this workload is that Kernow's own business, including their limited editions, is affected. Their usual excellent service has had to give way. While they advertise the LMR J94 as 'in stock' it is looking like my preorder is having to wait. Still, my credit card has suffered a bit lately, so maybe there is a positive in this!
  8. I live not far from St Enodoc's place in Sydney and got a parcel from Kernow today. It was ordered and despatched on the 28th of June, so 9 day delivery which is usual. Liverpool is similar. I'm happy with both but the hand written thank you from the Kernow folk gives them an edge. Cheers.
  9. Make that four: OOHC-004 DJ Models Hudswell Clarke 24t 0-6-0ST Locomotive Weathered / distressed Lined Red - See more at: http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/43583/OOHC-004-DJ-Models-Hudswell-Clarke-24t-0-6-0ST--Locomotive-Weath#sthash.nFdugyt3.dpuf
  10. Kernow has three models listed. OOHC-001 DJ Models Hudswell Clarke 24t 0-6-0ST Locomotive Plain, OOHC-002 and OOHC-003, both 'lined'.
  11. In the last few days Hattons changed the release dates for its J94s to June 2016. I am assuming that this is indicative of when we might see Errol.
