it was taken with the phone, and alas, they're not coupled, but a Great Western 166, SWT 444 and a Southern 455 (I think), all at Guildford Station
how about another with three or more companies' trains in shot?
Has anyone who's seen it noted if they corrected the flag from the trailer?? I was sort of impressed that they designed a Union Flag that would look more or less correct flown either way round... but you'd think it'd of been easier to just learn which side was the top.
North Queensferry Harbour, admittedly tilt-shifted out of focus, but still there...
if having the point of interest out of focus is acceptable, how about another train on a bridge?
A Great Western HST running on SWT rails due to Reading being closed for works, alongside the Basingstoke Canal at Pirbright Junction.
how about something else not running on its usual rails?
ignore me... just realised I've used this photo before...
thanks, though the real congrats should go to the Ivanhoe model railway club who built that model. It was by far and away my favourite at that show (2013 Farnham show)
One cattle dock, cattle wagons, and despite being blurry, what I'm going to assume are cattle! This is on Brixcombe (P4) at the Farnham & District model railway show last year.
How about something else on God's Wonderful Railway??
Not only that, whilst Switzerland isn't part of the Schengen Area, it is surrounded on all side by it, so in a manner of speaking is IN in the Schengen Area...
That reminded me that I hadn't put some photos up on Flickr... but here is Galatea, having stopped for water whilst returning to Carnforth
How about some steam on the Southern?? Preferably at speed, but I'm easy
You wouldn't even need a 3D scanner... you could easily pick up any exposed detail with a GPS pole or a theodolite with more than enough required detail. The problem then is having that information in a place where anyone who might need it can access it. A surveyor with such equipment isn't standard for most roadwork jobs, and having to call one in if you happen to find something obviously adds time and costs to each job.
Wait, India is broadgauge...? Damn, I actually have a slightly blurry (taken from a moving car) of an Indian electric loco... oh well, we live and learn!
I'm guessing it's wild card time? Here's a Great Western HST running on what is normally South West lines at Pirbright Junction (just west of Brookwood), due to Reading being closed.
How about something else not where you'd normally expect it to see it.
