  1. Well nearly, torque is the power of rotation, it can of course be used tighten things up like bolts/nuts with a torque wrench/spanner.
  2. You didn't watch it did you? you could get at least 4 carrier bags in it, though you probably wouldn't get over any speed bumps on the way there though.
  3. Wish you were here- Pink Floyd
  4. 2750 nm of torque? it ain't the bhp that gives you the oomfffffffffffffffffffff
  5. You wear it well- The Faces
  6. Potential is there, but after years of neglect, it will take years to build a new team.
  7. You keep me hanging on- Vanilla Fudge
  8. 2300 bhp may seem a tad excessive and I may never actually drive it at over 250mph, but I still want one, 0-70 in under 2 seconds is motor bike pace.....................................
  9. I don't recall any either, well not sober ones...............................
  10. I think Scotland will win at Murrayfield, they always lift their game against the auld enemy.
  11. Fix Or Repair Daily..........................owned a few Fords, they were not made to last and I got to know the insides of the bonnet contents, I also used a lot P38 plastic putty filling holes in the rotten bodywork, I did like a Transit van though, clever design.
  12. On that showing Italy are the most improved performers, England used a get out of jail card in Rome, they so easily may have lost that game.
  13. Sadly Ian Lavender has passed, he did make me laugh in Dads Army
  14. My old classic Aston Martin was 6 feet wide, so when buying a new house I told the seller I needed to see if it would fit in the garage, otherwise the deal was off. I drove it in and it fit a treat so reversed out and bought the house. However on moving in I drove into the garage and then realised, it being a 2 door, with long doors, it was a heck of a job getting out, I came up with a side shuffle taking care not to damage the aluminium body work.
  15. We built this city- Starship
  16. There are quite a few reasons why modern cars are the shape they are, the wind tunnel is one of the main reasons why most cars look similar, then because the cars are made of thinner metal the panels have contours pressed into them to give strength and structure, add in crumple zones and safety features like side impact bars and the overall size can increase without any increase in the interior. High end cars with carbon fibre can get round this, but is expensive, take the engine out and add electric motors and batteries and then the shape can evolve a bit, but fuel consumption is god, so the wind tunnel still dictates the shape.
  17. Nah, England will manage to beat Wales, so the Welsh are still in the mix for a spoon.
  18. Rollin' and tumblin' Johnny Winter(amongst the many)
  19. Telegraph Road- Dire Straits
  20. They only seem to be able to raise their game against England and no-one else
  21. It's the beginning of a new era for England and Wales, Italy too have a new coach and some new players, four years to the next World Cup, so plenty of time for them to build. France were the big losers this weekend, they peaked for the last world cup, failed and look to be in some trouble, Ireland looked in charge.
  22. Sound of the Underground- Girls Aloud(blaming the wife for this one)
  23. Farewell, farewell-Fairport Convention
  24. The 6 Nations kicks off tonight, something I had lost all interest in whilst Skippy the team wrecker was involved, but I might just tune in this weekend as all plans are on halt family wise as the daughter has covid again.
