  1. NRM have not found the drawings I want, so a wasted journey to York (except I panned for their failure, and had a few reserve requests - one of which was almost as useful as the thing they can't find)

  2. NRM have found the Ferry wagon drawings I want to look at AND know the difference between a bollard and a capstan - things are looking up!

      Don't get a black one, I was involved with certain elements of the paint development, and black is the wrong colour for this cold country. I can't say much more than that I'm afraid

      hmmm. Missing my scooby, but there wern't many Forester XTen's fewer black ones, and even fewer with the pale leather interior.

  6. Needs to return tea urn to rightful owner, and get our exhibition manager to accept that ours, which didn't work las week, and didn't work the year before, and didn't work the year before that, needs to be replaced.

      I only found out on the recent trip to Poland that bloody Ryanair have removed all the reclining mechanisms from the plane seats. It's bolt upright or nowt.

  12. Almost lost the will to live - not touched a model for a month, downloaded 123d but can't think of anything to draw. Not sure I've even got the energy to go to bed.

      Have a browse around the layouts section, thats where I normally go when my mojo has gone, gives me fresh ideas and the will the achieve more on my layout.

  20. I've realised that watching the cycling on the telly is actually rather better than going out and standing by the road.

      And it would have been better if the director / producer had fed info. about time-gaps and named break-away participants onto screen or to the commentators, who often didn't know what was happening. Not nearly as good coverage as the TdF

  21. Why does the Radio Times website only tell me how to watch 'radio' on freeview, but not what frequency/wavelength it is broadcast on?
