Nearer to Easter due to us not being happy with the motor currently fitted, borderline on power if pulling 3 coaches so mods are underway to fit a better motor, awaiting pre-production sample on the chassis/new motor. We have also made over 8 improvements to the bodyshell design, adding more rivits, improved sprung corridor connection along with some missing items! Are we being too picky!!

The Northern Livery design for the model is virtually finished, the odd error to correct, can you spot them!

Red Seat or Blue seats, does this make them turn up on time with spare seats in the rush hour! Cannot see the point, surely better to get the out of service sets back working.

Todays 144 Fleet News! All Serco-Abellio refurbished units will have new corperate image 'Blue' seating, a bicycle position replacing the disabled area in the DMSL (Toilet) car, All yellow internal handrails repainted in Grey and happy smiling staff. I am certain Northern can achieve some of these modifications, but maybe not all! This means the 'Arriva Red' seating is no more! They seemed ok to me! Why they don't fit better seating into the Manchester based 142's is a mystery rather than swapping good seats for good seats. Looks like another version we can do.

Then we will move onto the East Coast versions, that's the plan.

That was the statement, all I asked was what diesel shunter do people like, just curious. I like 05 & 06's but as of today we have no plans to do any as we are busy with current projects: These are: Class 144 (Running late due to us being unhappy & picky with the bodyshells we have) Northern & Metro Red & Silver livery Class 143 (Also running late but I am in Cardiff hoping to meet Sir Tom Jones next Wednesday, will be in Bristol on Thursday tracking down 'Lusty Glaze'then at Exeter on Friday & Saturday checking out close up detailing on the 'Local Lines livery' on the 143s. Liveries on the 143s are Arriva Trains Wales & First Great Western 'Local Lines' NEXT DMU All research & Measuring done, liveries selected. Then more 144 & 143 liveries (Working our way backwards) Then: A loco! Thats all your getting!!! One project at a time. Suggest starting a new post on this one as we are very interested in what RM Webbers think they need, we have our ideas, but what's yours!
