  1. Just out of mild curiosity, why are the NSE branded ploughs arriving later, id have thought they would all be produced at once, the NSE ones arent really any diffrent? Also, why im here musing.... did any of these ploughs ever recieve the full NSE paint job?
  2. Just been comparing the pic of the NSE Dapol 73 with photos of the real thing, roof needs to be a much darker grey (almost black) and the model for some strange reason has black front window surrounds. I really want that model, i do hope Dapol spot the mistake and rectify it.
  3. ..........apologies for sounding like a broken record, but...... nameplates and certificates for 50010, anyone had theirs arrive yet?
  4. Its an interesting point you make, ref 31454 in Intercity/DCR colours, was 31452 in DCR a slow seller due to it being a niche market or due to Hornby having already releasing that particular loco in Fragonset Black a few years earlier? I tend not to have more than one model of any particular loco in my collection, I wanted 31452 in DCR so my model of 31452 in FR black was disposed of, with the cost of locos being high, folk might not have wanted another model of 452 so soon after the last one.
  5. I agree an Intercity 31 would be good, 31454 as per its DCR days would be nice and go with Hornbys general release of 31452 quite well. Also 31407 in Mainline Blue and 31466 in EWS would be good.
  6. Has anyone recieved the nameplates and certificate for 50010 yet?
  7. Has anyone had the nameplates and certificates arrive for the 50010 model yet?
  8. My model of 50010 arrived, very pleased with it, just one question though..... Should it have etched nameplates and Limited Edition certificates with it, mine has neither? There is something in the back of my mind saying it should but recall reading that they will follow later but I cant for the life of me recall where I read it...... have I imagined it?
  9. Looks like a standard 20ft size to me mate, whats deceptive is the floor looks higher with shorter doors etc making it look low, plus the sides at the bottom appear to go inwards under the floor (which must be a pain in the ass for the fork lift driver to aim forks correctly), but looking at the height between the corners where the twist locks fit it looks to be standard 20ft height/size. Id bet if you plonked a standard 20ft next to it the dimensions would be the same.
  10. Gents (and ladies if there are any) i have just trawled through all 34 pages in this thread, i have the bag of detailing parts for the 47, included as you all know are 8 items, all the same that appear to go on the bogies, i cant though for the life of me work out how or where, I thought I was going to get the answer in the first couple of pages but no.... unless ive missed it..... so.... does anyone have a definitive answer, ideally with photos as to how the detailing bits fit to the corners of the bogies?
  11. 52 pages!!!!!!!!! Do you have any idea how long its taken to read it all????? lol, looks spot on Ian.
