Not me, although I've since read and enjoyed it. Being a contrary teen it would probably have put me off for life, whereas I now love Thomas Hardy, George Eliot and all those I escaped as a yoof 😎
Same here, but next decade at the Beacon Cinema, Scott Arms. And my parents wondered why I wouldn't go to sleep until they'd moved the more ferocious Britains wild animals from my bedroom every night 🙄
I certainly wouldn't pay that, but I got my digital copy for £4.99 as part of the RMWeb sub. I haven't a clue how much the dead-tree market is worth these days, I reckon it must be 15 years since I was last in a WHS or similar.
