  2. I need some advice on a scrap yard I am building. I have spread some filler on the base area and added some gravel for a gravely rough look. I'm stuck on what colour I should use as a base colour on the ground area.
  3. Hi Marly51 I'm liking your build. Whenever I have watched any of your builds, I have always been impressed in your card structure builds. Can I ask what card it is you use as it looks quite thick, ideal for building structures.

  12. Hi Ian I have just stumbled across you build thread of this layout. I do like the old pictures of what the area looked like as well as the more recent pictures. The buildings you are modelling look great. I will be watching this with great interest.
  13. Nice work I like the tiny directional lights on the ruston. I have just purchased a new ruston myself.

  15. Nice barge construction and all modelled using cardboard. It's amazing what can be built using cardboard.
  16. Have you tried ERF and Seddon Atkinson wagons also.
  17. Steve have you tried Oxford diecast they have a good range of vehicles.
  18. Steve the modelling of the bridge and the bridge deck is very good.
  19. Dave I like the homemade milled hooks. The bogie bolster looks great.
  20. Nice touch the wire inside the trunking. It's all looking great.
  21. Andrew I like your baseboard design and the fiddle yard setup. The scenic structure flows nicely and I'm looking forward to seeing this layout progress.
  22. The scenery structure is looking great, love the modelling of the steps and the storm drain.
