  10. Volunteered on the Yorkshire Wolds Railway today. Cab rides in our loco.
  11. Started another wagon tonight after weeks of lethargy and inactivity. Hopefully can get motivated now. Unfortunately the brake lever and V hanger was missing in the kit.
  12. Hooray we are back, like others I had a chat with the ex for a change (who I still share the house with) surprised to find out she no longer works at Woolworths 😀.
  13. Sorry to ask are they available separately to purchase from them. In the mean time I will take a look.
  14. About ten or so layouts there mostly N gauge but one O gauge layout was there. After an absence of a few years renewed my membership and have all but volunteered to help out with their health and safety arrangements. Pictures below of the O gauge layout.
  15. Off to the Yorkshire Wolds Railway model railway show, a two day event held at the Driffield show ground. Those not in the know, the YWR is the only preserved/heritage railway in East Yorkshire. It is situated very near to the old Fimber/Sledmere railway station on the old Driffield-Malton railway and now occupies approximately 300M of operational track. Unfortunately it cannot proceed through the tunnel at Burdale North West ish of the present site, due to collapses in the tunnel that have occurred over the years. YWR however are hoping to proceed further towards the old station at Wetwang.

  18. Hi Al, Yes please I note some 1/48 scale are for sale on ebay too. Regards Julian.
  19. Many thanks Paul, much appreciated.
  20. Can anyone please point me in the direction of some container kits, Buzz models did them I believe, but on their web site it says not available. Cheers Julian.
  21. Great effect you got there Ian. Looking forward to the next phase.
  22. Thanks for that Al, something else I need to invest in.
  23. Unfortunately I can very much associate with that a tidy up needed too me thinks!
  24. Here it is with plenty of pics of Tees yard.
  25. Thanks for prompt reply. Its a diorama Im thinking of doing, Iv seen a page on the oo scale thread by Alcanman do an excellent small layout loosely based on Tees Yard so thought of doing something similar. Iv just ordered the wagon repair depot from Railway Laser Lines and the stores building would be ideal to add to a mish mash of buildings like Tees yard has.
