  1. Thanks for prompt reply. Its a diorama Im thinking of doing, Iv seen a page on the oo scale thread by Alcanman do an excellent small layout loosely based on Tees Yard so thought of doing something similar. Iv just ordered the wagon repair depot from Railway Laser Lines and the stores building would be ideal to add to a mish mash of buildings like Tees yard has.
  2. Hi Al, Hope your well. Was looking at your MEA build and you soldered W irons in etc. is this the best way because of the white metal? I was thinking of getting one but Im far from the worlds best when it comes to soldering. Regards Julian.

  6. Called in to York Monk Bar Models today and came out poorer. Good selection of O Gauge kits, Dapol, Scene craft, they dont sell Heljan. Added another VEA van in grey to add to the MOD train, there is an interesting article in the latest Traction magazine on MOD trains. Also last night fixed my manual point changing dowel which I had managed to snag my trouser pocket on and pull the pin from the dowel out of the point.

  11. Using brother Ian’s (Hither Green TMD) of our parish, latest videos on his 08 conversion as a guide, I got my EWS 08 and dry brushed some maroon on the cab roof which I over did with the roof dirt. Thanks once again Ian really helpful to me .
  12. It was a cheap deal for the construction company, all laid up in sidings at the time and gave years of sterling service abroad! A waste as they could have done the same here in my opinion.

  18. Transfers on tonight, a slight difference as this one is for aviation fuel.
  19. The barrel painted under frame and chassis had its first coat.
  20. Third TTA undercoated, had to wait for buffers to arrive from Invertrain, they duly arrived this morning, great service.
  21. Wow, that looks pretty damn good, space saver too .
  22. Not sure if this has been picked up or mentioned previously but I have two 47,s in both detail packs only two screws provided for the ploughs. Thankfully at the moment I dont require them to be fitted.
