    If the price is right people will buy, then again having seen some of shapeways results the sides might not be 'smooth' enough to look realisitc

    I think that was 1 of the 1st things to be known about them when they were announced originally

    Class 23.5, with Class 53/4 behind.... (built on an underground ernie tube train chassis)

    Thats true, several of the 1st batch of 201 class locos were laid up within months of delivery awaiting new wheelsets, which led to a severe loco haulage and questions asked by the government considering they had paid for the then new loco fleet Anyway, has the curtain finally fallen on the Brush Type 5's??

    Its on youtube, search for 'Deltic on ITN' Anyway its sad for me as these were the 1st class I remember as brand new, being amazed at their capacity to replace 3 x 37's on the Port Talbot - Llanwern Iron Ore trains among other things. But the Deltics only lasted 20 years too, some locos less!

    They may look ugly but its a case of function over form and be thankful that there is still investment in railways and railfreight, unlike other countries like Ireland!
