Tonbridge MRC Exhibition Saturday 17th February
Modelrailwayquest replied to ColinW's topic in Exhibitions
Hi Geep7 Great you had a good time at the show - and Horsebridge Wharf received the attention it deserved. A fantastic layout. Unless told otherwise by the exhibitors on the day, I use the official show guide to credit layouts in videos, so it's a shame Clive hasn't been given the credit in the brochure itself. I'll see what I can do to amend it. -
Tonbridge MRC Exhibition Saturday 17th February

If you don't mind the long wait to get in - more on "Queuegate" in the video. Hopefully the committee will take on board this problem and on speaking to some of them, they want to address the issue for next years show. The massively popular Tonbridge Model Railway show was amazing.... and I was there to capture all the best bits. -
Some positive media for a change! A lovely article in the Telegraph magazine this weekend by Richard Godwin about his dad's model railway hobby... and model railway fans in general. He interviewed me before the Hattons and Warley news broke, so this was written before the whole "the model railway hobby is dead" storyline...

I suggested it as a VT to business news... good to see a more balanced view. Also an article in The Telegraph this weekend, not sure if on Saturday or Sunday.

A positive and optimistic feature for the model railway hobby at the end of a rollercoaster news week. I had a fantastic day out at the UK's newest model railway centre. If visiting Hornby stop enroute here for some great layouts inc some TV stars
