  1. Delighted to add Kingsnorth by Phil Lambkin to the list of fantastic layouts at the Sevenoaks Model Rail Show.
  2. I will be coming with BRIEF ENCOUNTER monochrome model railway as a last min entry plus doing some filming of the show which like past show videos will include some dodgy sourced facts about the town of course lol
  3. How to make three types of fences for your layout - perfect for N, OO/HO and O gauge. Simple and easy - for beginners and intermediate level, ideal for modern industrial, garden fencing and rural field fencing.

  5. Hi Geep7 Great you had a good time at the show - and Horsebridge Wharf received the attention it deserved. A fantastic layout. Unless told otherwise by the exhibitors on the day, I use the official show guide to credit layouts in videos, so it's a shame Clive hasn't been given the credit in the brochure itself. I'll see what I can do to amend it.
  6. If you don't mind the long wait to get in - more on "Queuegate" in the video. Hopefully the committee will take on board this problem and on speaking to some of them, they want to address the issue for next years show. The massively popular Tonbridge Model Railway show was amazing.... and I was there to capture all the best bits.
  7. Some positive media for a change! A lovely article in the Telegraph magazine this weekend by Richard Godwin about his dad's model railway hobby... and model railway fans in general. He interviewed me before the Hattons and Warley news broke, so this was written before the whole "the model railway hobby is dead" storyline...
  8. Funny! 😂 Actually it started out in colour but it took me so long it turned grey with age! 😂 Thanks for the lovely feedback btw.
  9. Thanks Andrew - it was a great show. Glad you enjoyed it.
  10. My Canterbury show video is here, enjoy and yes that's not a spelling mistake, the 000 gauge layout is 000 gauge and of special interest to the N gauge fans
  11. Due to a last minute cancellation, I'll be exhibiting Brief Encounter Monochrome at the show. Looking forward to seeing everyone - come and say Hi.
  12. I suggested it as a VT to business news... good to see a more balanced view. Also an article in The Telegraph this weekend, not sure if on Saturday or Sunday.
  13. Back after a two year break. Venue has had a full rebuild, is still sponsored by Model Railway Signs and only a 10 min walk from Sevenoaks BR.
  14. Have you looked at the DOGA website, their members are all over the UK and they list their personal layouts ready to attend shows

  16. A positive and optimistic feature for the model railway hobby at the end of a rollercoaster news week. I had a fantastic day out at the UK's newest model railway centre. If visiting Hornby stop enroute here for some great layouts inc some TV stars
  17. Have you tried Model Railway Signs, they made me some bespoke signs
