60007 awaits a light engine move , to operate Banford - immingham empty steel. Been "playing" as you do!!

Managed to get both lifting cranes to lift up Lima class 31 on Colmore depot ...

Chap sent me this Lima class 31 for weathering,

and some old pictures of this looking tatty on the Wigan spring brach line...

Ive done both airbrush and then dry brush...

Ive used two methords of weathering here on my "hard standing"

1st is airbrush

2nd is dry brush finish.

using matt humbrol paints and Vallejo ww2 colours...

Little light weathering only to just the chassis on this 3752,

ive kept loco body clean on this colas tractor....

That's true and both ideas are very good. When you have used plastic card, did you watch videos on Youtube etc before you attempted anything or did you just buy some and have a go? I'm just trying to gauge how achievable it would be to get a decent enough looking result for a depot/shed area.

My depot I built on Banks road few years ago 2010 was built from same idea,

in fact everything I build which has concrete look floor is from plastic card Danny...

Yer ive used roof part and legs from Knightwing fuel point kit Rob D2,rest is bit n bobs...

Ive added two tone weathering finish to the chassis and bogies,then ile be adding these rust effect colours and track grime..
