Class 37, by Accurascale
ERIC ALLTORQUE replied to Accurascale Fran's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Just goes to show how sucessfull @DRS Crewe On A Mission is,way to go Danny. The trick is getting it right for all concerned as you dont want to buy something that is worthless after a few years as the market is knee deep in them, some of the retailers are discounting more heavily to release slow moving stock, just getting the balance right. -
Well now we have a lifetimes supply of must have 66,s on the horizon we should have a top five pole to help out the next batch of what we would like to see made. I personally think that doing the Hatton ones again so soon is a waste of production time and effort so how about it....... A Maritime one 66419 to have a correct G&W 66721 66794 66850 so we have a correct Colas whats your wishlist?

Drat,it must have been the one i wanted, win some loose some, enjoy your purchase. -
With this being about the motor it seems,i believe the motor itself is a petty much a one used by a few manufacturors and has brush gear thats screwed to the endcap. @adb968008 has done extensive work on the Hattons 66 and others with issues so he might be of help as im sure surging was one of the issues. Perhaps its time for an Accuramotor with servicable brushgear as well as Accuracontrol system for supply. On the voltage i find the NCE i have is 13 ish volts ,so if ESU need higher then thats possibly an issue or a bigger lightning rod on the roof perhaps.

Then there was six, if this keeps up Ikea will need a visit as its a neat solution to store the locos, once the weather closes in hope to get time to finnish baseboards for half the loft and get some track to run on. -

ERIC ALLTORQUE replied to PM47079's topic in UK Prototype Discussions (not questions!)
If we all have electric cars by 2030 the grid and wiring infrastructure will fail, its not there to cope and will cost billions to upgrade, our generation system is stretched to capacity so where the extra power stations coming from and they take decades to construct and bring on line, its a farce, they cannot pay for the health service staff but in the next stoke they have trashed billions on stupid failed schemes by people in well paid managerial jobs they have never actually done by working up the line, the country is failing and it will get worse. -

Not that they cannot be bettered but i guess we will wait a long time for the east coast express locos as they have been done to death by the esablishment,on a bright note about that heres a great film to make Little Bytham modern image..... -

Here they use covert white ones and if it is yellow it would need a wash and polish to create a shine,in northern England we go from blue to white with sun burn -

An Accurascale model battleship would be great, will take five years to save for a 1/76 model so bring it on,great idea.
