  1. Just goes to show how sucessfull @DRS Crewe On A Mission is,way to go Danny. The trick is getting it right for all concerned as you dont want to buy something that is worthless after a few years as the market is knee deep in them, some of the retailers are discounting more heavily to release slow moving stock, just getting the balance right.
  2. Well now we have a lifetimes supply of must have 66,s on the horizon we should have a top five pole to help out the next batch of what we would like to see made. I personally think that doing the Hatton ones again so soon is a waste of production time and effort so how about it....... A Maritime one 66419 to have a correct G&W 66721 66794 66850 so we have a correct Colas whats your wishlist?
  3. Drat,it must have been the one i wanted, win some loose some, enjoy your purchase.
  4. Thanks John,i just rememberd you having the motors apart on the 66.as for loft floor i built and laid it myself or it would have been a model of the Licky incline,as spirit level to a builder must be a sign to the level of intoxication.
  5. A snip if your name is Edward........ Out of interest Fran what do you use for test and on your own layout in the towers ,sounds like a 15 volt, 5 amp smoothed supply is required?
  6. With this being about the motor it seems,i believe the motor itself is a petty much a one used by a few manufacturors and has brush gear thats screwed to the endcap. @adb968008 has done extensive work on the Hattons 66 and others with issues so he might be of help as im sure surging was one of the issues. Perhaps its time for an Accuramotor with servicable brushgear as well as Accuracontrol system for supply. On the voltage i find the NCE i have is 13 ish volts ,so if ESU need higher then thats possibly an issue or a bigger lightning rod on the roof perhaps.
  7. I think i would have said come back when shes in and closed the door, why would they want a photo of her personal id and what will they do with it? Nope would have just shut the door.
  8. Glad i dont drink,i would spill my pint trying to reach............. I wanted this bungalow as the loft was crying out for a model railway............ Well once ROG and mellow yellow get here and the 66 fleet and the next batch of 37,s he can have a house there i guess..........
  9. Well my 37610 came today,so if your waiting it should not be too long
  10. Then there was six, if this keeps up Ikea will need a visit as its a neat solution to store the locos, once the weather closes in hope to get time to finnish baseboards for half the loft and get some track to run on.
  11. Nice to see these are selling out after all the fuss on the Hattons tread as to panic if no more were going to be produced, this hopefully is the job sorted and the axle ends up to A class spec, something to buy and run properly.
  12. Ive got the e mail saying 610 is on way from rails,so they must have them..........just be patient.
  13. If we all have electric cars by 2030 the grid and wiring infrastructure will fail, its not there to cope and will cost billions to upgrade, our generation system is stretched to capacity so where the extra power stations coming from and they take decades to construct and bring on line, its a farce, they cannot pay for the health service staff but in the next stoke they have trashed billions on stupid failed schemes by people in well paid managerial jobs they have never actually done by working up the line, the country is failing and it will get worse.
  14. Im sure the Accurascale army would be up for any good cause,i kind of feel with this you gave us something we all wanted and it helped something we can all relate too, thanks Fran.
  15. Just over a month and its sold out, good to know and see as the money will help a good cause.
  16. As its still done today on the buffers i guess it helps when they are in contact,i guess Mike @The Stationmaster is the man for a definitive answer.
  17. Well rails have taken payment for 610 HNRC so i guess they must be there..........so hopefully the ROG 608 is in stock at the homeworld for dispatch too............
  18. Well the ship is at the launch table and (after a SPMT broke down taking it there) and its in the chopsticks for lift onto booster.........live camera here
  19. Not that they cannot be bettered but i guess we will wait a long time for the east coast express locos as they have been done to death by the esablishment,on a bright note about that heres a great film to make Little Bytham modern image.....
  20. Here they use covert white ones and if it is yellow it would need a wash and polish to create a shine,in northern England we go from blue to white with sun burn
  21. What about the DHL team if the packing tape breaks, hard to drive in a welding mask, just call him Darth.....
  22. An Accurascale model battleship would be great, will take five years to save for a 1/76 model so bring it on,great idea.
  23. They cannot deliver what is not here and they go out there way to inform and help, do you get many company MD,s talk on media to you? Its not life threatening if you dont get a model train, give them a break as its probably out of there control.....
