  1. I have been far to busy playing with the loco to read the manual 😉
  2. Thanks for that, I am obviously guilty of only looking at pictures and not reading enough😅
  3. The models seemed to be labelled Series 1 and Series 2 on the respective boxes. Perhaps Cavalex will clarify the differences as I was pleasantly surprised by the removable roof panel on 56055 compared to the images originally published.
  4. Yes and no input from me, it's automatic.
  5. A short video of 56055 with sound.
  6. Congratulations Cavalex. My initial impressions are this model is right up there with the best. The sound is also immense and I can't wait to receive the rest of my fleet.
  7. Looks like someone beat me to posting a photo of the box so a picture of the loco will have to do
  8. I knew something was missing from my life, I have yet to see a photo of the box!!!!!!
  9. Would I be correct in thinking this is the speaker to use in DCC ready versions if we wish to add sound?W
  10. I have just bought a couple at Colletts models Still a plenty available in DCC Ready and sound fitted https://www.collettsmodelshop.co.uk/product-category/model-railways-2/oo-gauge/cavalex-models-oo-gauge/locomotives-cavalex-models-oo-gauge/browse-by-class-locomotives-cavalex-models-oo-gauge/class-56-browse-by-class-locomotives-cavalex-models-oo-gauge/dcc-sound-class-56-browse-by-class-locomotives-cavalex-models-oo-gauge/ https://www.collettsmodelshop.co.uk/product-category/model-railways-2/oo-gauge/cavalex-models-oo-gauge/locomotives-cavalex-models-oo-gauge/browse-by-class-locomotives-cavalex-models-oo-gauge/class-56-browse-by-class-locomotives-cavalex-models-oo-gauge/dcc-ready-class-56-browse-by-class-locomotives-cavalex-models-oo-gauge/
  11. I can't take credit for these wagons used in my recent photo of 58039 myself. They were done for me by my friend Andrew Wills.
  12. Not seen many videos posted on here. Here's the video version of 37026 crossing Healey Bridge Viaduct with the PFAs as posted earlier in the photos
  13. You should not let an ugly pointy thingy spoil a thing of outstanding natural beauty 😉
  14. Good to see Charlie, I am sure this model will be well worth the wait.
  15. my RJB versions arrived from Rails today, very happy with this addition to my collection.
  16. They are quality photos Karl, you can't post too many.
  17. I have often wondered whether there were occasions when the PFA flats ran without containers on. I am particularly interested in the 80 and 90s era having built up a collection of Cawoods and British Fuels to use on my layout which can be used anywhere between 1980 and 2000 depending on which stock I choose to place on the layout. I can't find any photo evidence of flats running without containers. The 80s seemed to be uniformed rakes of the Cawoods whilst the later 90s seemed to offer much more variation with British Fuels and debranded Cawoods, RGB and sometimes HEAs in the same rake. I would be interested to knows if the PFA flats did run without the containers, either part rake or full rake.
  18. If anyone is interested in the Rails RGB PFAs they are currently in the sale. https://railsofsheffield.com/products/custom-weathered-set-of-3-pfa-2-axle-container-flat-wagons-with-rjb-coal-containers-exclusive
