      I presume you mean the 1400 Class Highflyers. 

      1) The largest driving wheel readily available is 7'0" whereas these were 7'3".  Not a huge problem as the flange will help visually in OO and wheels were turned down as they wore. 

      2) Get a copy of Barry Lane's LYR Locomotives (I suspect you may have one).

      3) Join the LYR Society.

      4) There was an Ian Beattie drawing in the Feb 1985 Railway Modeller.

      5) There were two sorts of valance under the running plate and some locos were superheated for a while.

      6) You will have "fun" capturing the Belpaire firebox shape!

      7) Start a thread as you will capture more comments and opinions rather than relying on your profile.

      If you are after a kit, look for a Millholme Models kit. They do come up quite often on eBay.

       

      I have heard that Stevenson Carriages were planning on reissuing it. But it seems to be a bit quiet on that front.

      I'm probably going to put this on hold for a bit and work more on a fictional lanky 2-6-0 that a few people may find familiar.
