  1. Think the colour is looking quite convincing from here.
  2. That's very tempting. We might see that around Bovey Tor one day.
  3. Fond memories disco dancing to 'I'm a man' by Chicago at Tiffanys, Piccadilly.
  4. Past cotton-grass and moorland boulder Shovelling white steam over her shoulder
  5. Chuck Berry in da house?
  6. You can make it yourself. There are a few recipes on the 'tube'. Because as Ben said, it's just papier mache with plaster.
  7. Well that's just spiffing to hear old chaps.
  8. Think the stone front is there now. Next we can get started on the surface.
  9. Welcome to A Life on Little Muddle. In a series of episodes we’ll follow the trials and tribulations, the comings and goings, the ups and downs, the back and forths, the raisings and lowerings and all the microscopic details of life on this little planet.
  10. Having seen your work, no surprise there. But big congrats to you Graham all the same.
  11. I hate to say it but I agree with Stu. I used a very similar method to build terrain on Kanator. Found out later it was very tricky to keep trees, fence posts, telegraph poles etc. upright. We're using blue foam this time round to avoid all that.
  12. Are we there yet? No, but over half way. Which in marathon terms means we've just hit the wall.
  13. After the rain comes sun After the sun comes rain again
  14. You and me both. I use S-M surgical blades No 11.
  15. Curious being my first name and not having been a member of this parish in 2011, I was intrigued. But thanks to some deft rummaging around. The penny has now dropped.
  16. You're right, and with my back and all.
  17. Nearly forgot. Two or three more narrow boats. Plus the original one, disappearing down the tunnel.
  18. Morning Rob, That is so good to hear. Like we talked about a while ago, I've been scouring the web looking for the right buildings for Bovey Tor. Regardless of whether they are GWR or not. And that, my friend is the beauty of a freelance layout. All I really care about is that everything works together in harmony. Still a few more to add in the coming months. A corrugated lamp room. A kiosk / cafe with outdoor seating. An old dilapidated barn and of course an old privy with interior.
  19. Thanks to Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey.
  20. Strips of card which have been embossed over heavy gauge wires, held in a jig. Then painted with various Vallejo rust paints.
