@woko They are all excellent, but the top one is a definite

Yep. You can’t really tell where the model ends!- 1

Went up to the Spar for lunch today and tried to pay with my organ donor card by mistake.
Cost me an arm and a leg that one…- 11

Seeing as I seem to have sadly lost most of my old pictures from previous threads on here, I figured it was a good excuse as any to whack a few back up, and probably expand my thread lurking to beyond the 3D printing arena!! :)
Model village, know known as Lower Grampton on my dads model railway, the railway cottages, and the King Henry Arms below.
That’s mind blowing woko. The dappled light and the texture of the building is inspiring.Love it!

Yes to be fair my friend (and myself) had looked on their website in normal opening times and it definitely said temporarily closed.
I used them myself not that long ago and I didn’t experience these problems.

It looks amazing. A lot of work but the end result is something that has a proper Peak presence about it.

I got some stuff from them last week via mail order and I spoke to them on the phone this morning about some Dapol spares. So they are definitely there and trading.
From their website:
Ok thanks for that @Happy Hippo -
Evening folks.
Would anyone know why DCC Supplies appear to be temporarily closed at the moment?
I’ve got a friend who wants to send a loco to them for repairs but I can’t seem to find any information on when (or if) they’ll be open again?Nick

Elton John can’t stand lettuce…
He’s more of a Rocket Man.
(I’m really sorry about that one)

I feel like I’m bombarding this thread this week but it’s just that I took a load of photos the other day!
These ones are of a midweek light engine 47 run up to Lapford to pick up some fertiliser traffic bound for Riverside Yard
Having run through the station the RfD 47 rolls into the collection siding.
Pulls the wagons out and deposits them in the platform before running round:
And heading back to Exeter:

Saw a dwarf climbing down a drainpipe when I drove past the prison earlier.
It was a little condescending.

That Goathland one needs some false smoke effects to make it look like a model.
They must have used a thin camera phone to fit in the slot between the parapet and the bus though.- 1

I may be one of the few people that’s extremely pleased that 37142 is being produced. It was my first ever one for haulage back in 1987 towing a failed HST from Exeter to Plymouth and back. I even chucked a few quid into its restoration down at Bodmin a few years ago.
Should look great once it’s had a bit of weathering done.
edit - I’m clearly not the only one @bluedepot!
