  1. It’s a shame that ARC models stopped trading as this looks like a great resin kit.
  2. Hi first of all can I say thank you for pushing the likes button. Last evening the ballast was laid and it’s dried nicely, just needs a little bit of weathering applied. This morning I have added the static grass and I am happy with the result. Still more to do on this little diorama. A few pictures of my work.
  3. Hi JRB your model railway layout is looking really nice, the modelling theme is nicely done.
  4. Hello fellow modellers, I have been busy with my little diorama. The derelict building has been built, painted and weathered which has turned out really well. The stone wall has been built, painted and weathered. The stone yard area has been laid ready for painting and weathering. I hope you like my work, more to follow.
  5. Jim your layout is progressing nicely, I like the track plan you have chosen. The ballast work and static grass is looking great.
  6. The Andrew Barclay does look in place on your layout, nice work on producing another 3D loco.
  7. Morning just a quick update, the items I need to start my diorama have been ordered and I should receive them tomorrow.
  8. This is a complete change to my original layout ideas. Looking at ‘The Path to’ diorama which is modelled by Colin Peake has inspired me to make a diorama of a similar theme. I plan to use my same size baseboard of 24cms x 11cms, the Peco track will have every other sleeper removed to replicate a seaside railway line. The diorama will be a working one where the loco can run back and forth.
  9. Montfort2 it’s great fun building a tuning fork layout, I’m hoping to start a tuning fork layout myself once I purchase the wood I need this weekend.
  10. Really nice work, I do like the people in the yards and back alleyway. I think the wagon looks great too.
  11. Marlyn I like the work you have done with the DAS clay, your cakebox is looking great.
  12. I like your own baseboard construction, the track plan looks great. Your progress is coming along nicely with the retaining wall in place and grassed embankment. The ballasting is a dirty job and not a lot of people like doing this. Look forward to seeing more of this layout build.
  13. Hi today I have managed to get the track section weathered.
  14. Thank you for your kind words, this little diorama will be a little longer in the making due to waiting for payday to arrive so I can order a few items.
  15. Hello fellow modellers, I have started another 4”x4” plinth diorama build. This will be based around a small section of transporting clay. The items I will use for this diorama are: Peco track Bachmann China clay wagon Disused stone building Stone walling Fencing Ground cover such as grass, ballast and some flowers Here is a picture of my build start.
  16. Great work on modelling the rocks and tunnel area.
  17. Nice work on the ground cover, that overgrown look looks great.
  18. Marlyn I like your mockup, everything sounds great. Will be watching with interest.
  19. Nice model work, I do like those long rushes along the waters edge.
