  1. It doesn't look like it has a PCB. If it was DCC I'd think we could tell straight away but yep, it's analogue.
  2. I am correct in thinking that 37264 is now preserved on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway?
  3. Ths looks very interesting. Perhaps my Granddad might like it.
  4. I've had a closer look at the image. I can't exactly make out the number but I think it might be a 37/2
  5. Will it have some representation of the now famous Viaduct? Also, will all the layouts be eventually be linked together?
  6. I looked it up on Google images and one of pics was this. It's the signalbox at Fort William Junction. I'm not entirely sure if it's actually at Fort William or elsewhere.
  7. When building McKellar Yard and the other oo gauge micro layout, I've come across more problems than I can count. Like David said, it's only one step back, three steps forward (though in my case, it's one step forward, three steps back) The point is, no matter how much problems we face when building layouts, we eventually get round it.
  8. Strange indeed. I think I have an idea what the problem is but I'm not too sure. Firstly, before this problem happened, how well did it run?
  9. I've had a look through the book and I've found the page. The locos featured in the book look exactly like the one at Glastonbury. I've posted the pics on here:
  10. I've got a few pics of Thomas Hill locomotives in a book I've got. It's called An Introduction to British Industrial Diesel Locomotives. It's by Ray King and it was published back in 2006 by Traction and Rolling Stock Advertiser
  11. I look forward to seeing it! Perhaps a model company i.e Hornby, Bachmann, Dapol etc might take on the 69 in the future...
  12. 153s and 142s are used on the Whitby-Batterby/Middlesborough services alongside other DMU classes 150s, 156 and 158. There may be more classes used but they are the ones I've seen while at Grosmont and in between there and Whitby. However, as I'm not modelling the station, I won't need to buy any modern DMUs. But, having said that, recreating that may add some operational interest.
  13. Yeah. Both of my layouts are still in the work-in-progress stage (McKellar Yard and the still unnamed one in my bedroom) the latter is virtually complete and just needs a backscene and some bricks on the bridge.
