  1. Ah but look on the bright side you model of caroline is unbeatable in detail and precision Recently I really wanted one as could vividly remember 37409 and her passing my primary school as the railway backed on to it and while having my lunch she passed and seeing her thrash out made it some thing quite special as i was an 8 year old who didn't know it was coming and was only used to stuff in the NRM and mainly 158 s it and so the memory has stayed with me so i really wanted a model and really looked up to your model as a start for me doing my own rake of her and 37409. Also i do like 37423 mainly due to her previous livery before the large DRS logo over a plain background. However I strongly feel this will be accurascales next move as it fits in,suits all modern image modellers and even though being one of a kind accurascale released the MOD nuclear wagons. Still hope you are going to accurascale and i would congratulate you on such a cleaver move to allow any modern image modeller the excuse to buy one of your 37/4 and this. Thanks Jack
  2. Hello Having watched the introduction video by Gareth Bayer i have a strong felling the inspection saloon caroline will be coming around as he mentions it specifically I would definitely get one and a 37/4 if it was announced. It would be a good move as then any modern image modeller,no matter where really they model can get. Really hope you are accurascale. Thanks Jack
  3. Is this now predicted to be even later now with covid-19 getting worse and seeing no end in short term future.
  4. Also found this Lima one- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lima-305369-OO-Gauge-MK3-InterCity-Executive-Livery-Sleeper-Coach-E10646/352978828323?hash=item522f2d7c23:g:-ZoAAOSwxH1eUEqW
  5. A Lima on is for sale in bundle- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seven-Lima-Model-Railways-H0-00-Gauge-Boxed-Intercity-Sleeper-Car-Seven-Wagons/254516496555?hash=item3b425d88ab:g:fbUAAOSwWVBeTBXx Also there is a BR blue and grey for sale as well- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/A-Rare-Hornby-R4282-BR-Inter-City-MK-3-Sleeper-Coach-No-E10543-MINT-00-gauge/352976539170?hash=item522f0a8e22:g:TgMAAOSwQTVeTUkk
  6. Would expect them to come out all at once and still we haven't seen a first production sample. Problem for me is my birthday is in may. Don't have my own money- that is 14. Can wait, But would rather get something else sooner instead.
  7. Thanks for the reply, Was in the same mind about the time. It will have to go from CAD to first production sample to decorated sample and through production to sale in around 4 months. Hats off to them if they accomplish this, It took them about 5 months to get the PFA from just decorated sample to production, And took them about 10 months to complete it from CAD to sale so chances are they aren't going to do it. Probably looking at about Q1 2021!
  8. when will the mk5a coaches coches be released? Is it still Q2 2020?
  9. I know. Thank you all, I will probbably join a society and order some exactoscale fast track components as to go to a show it would cost me more in train fare than membership. Hornby mazazine reveiw on the C and L finescale ready built track what featured code 82 and exactoscale fast track sleepers and when put to code 75 track there is a slit lip but nothing much,so for where i'm going to model i will use bullhead as per the prototype.
  10. Hello I,m looking to get fine 00 gauge (not P4 or EM) concrete sleeper track what or fairly easy to use or modify. I really liked the idea of using C and L finescale code 82 flat bottom rail and exactoscale fast track bases and would have been perfect as it is not hard to construct and gives a fine appearance but recently exactoscale stopped selling their own items only to be sold through EM and P4 groups so were can i get the 00 scale products? If i could get an answer for this this would answer the main problem at hand. Also i know C and L finescale use to produce ready built concrete sleeper track featuring its own rail and the fast track bases and again this would be great if still available but having had a look on C and L finescale's website they didn't mention or advised such a product but i do know they still sell code 82 rail, if you know anything about the product please comment and it would be helpful. I know PECO code 75 track would need the sleepers respaceing and there quit a few tools out there could any recommend a specific brand what give a scale space between the sleepers Know kato do a pre-ballasted versions but would rather use flexi track use fine ballast and mainly allowing for fine details E.G-point rodding to be added and blended into the scene so i won't going down this route. Any help will be much appreciated , Thanks, Jack
  11. Thank you, Do you know anything about the coaches?
  12. Maybe a set of Hornby's progression of models would be good. So progressing from Triang to Hornby Railways with tender drive examples and then to the modern Hornby and to finish it today,This would cover all four eras of Hornby and a perfect candidate would be a princess royal collection. It was Rovex's first model and then went into a tender drive model then Hornby revamped the tooling to bring it to the super deatail era and then the future offering what will be relesed in 2020. Would be a good collection to show the progression of the model train!
  13. Hello, I would like to know weather anyone can tell me what colour Guest's Katie was at the Dudley zoo railway, I have found one black and white image and seen some in the book Katie's other sisters. The book states how some GWR traditions (only having one gauge glass). I know it had white and black lining, can tell from picture in the book. Also finally what colour were the guest coaches at the Dudley zoo railway, i've included an example of what i mean in 09 scale below as well as a picture of Katie on the Dudley zoo railway.
  14. N Drive productions will be producing an 09 katie for £95 in the fist half of next year also i know somethings happening with effie.
  15. again would love a prototype HST.
  16. But it Bachmann 5 years to produce the class 90 and the mk2Fs. I aslo am only guessing and really i don't want Hornby to do a 91. I want them to just leave to cavalex.
  17. I know, they will be 2m shorter. But i love them so much i wouild still love one.
  18. Only thing is one pacer would get quite full on the ELR or NYMR. Especially on the NYMR as even on a normal day trains are quite full.
  19. Would so love one but it could easily made using Bachmann baldwin chassis and the langley body.
  20. NRM will keep 142001 and are planning to run rides on it along the line where the brake van rides happen. This means people will still experience a ride on a pacer.
  21. I know the EMR AT300 is shorter by 2m, But i love the livery so much i would love one even if it is a bit long-I would even be tempted to have one repainted. Also would love a class 222-only so I can have an EMR intercity train. You are correct i 'believe' this will happen i don't know and really don't want it to happen-I too believe the cavalex model will be a better model (especially seeing the CAD) and the opportunity for new tooling I would prefer to go to other models.Note how I never said I want this to happen, I just think it may. I may add i'm only basing the idea Hornby start projects way before they are announced-Ruston was measured up 1 tear and 3 months before announced and the B2s were measured up 1 year and 5 months before announcement. Also I hope Hornby don't pull a 66 stunt this year for the 91!
  22. Sorry was thing of commonwealth of Australia-r3095 Well anyway you could easy renumber and rename it as you can use etches for most of the numbers and the nameplates, not transfers.
  23. However there is a difference between a £40 soud chip and a £115 sound chip in terms of functionality. For example the ESU loksound V4 will give out sounds on analogue but the TTS doen't. The ESU loksound V4 can be reblown but the TTS can't Really it bows down from people trying to get more out of the option of DCC sound. ESU v4=£115 TTS=£40
  24. Olivias remove the TTS sound-so this is accurate information. Most times it has a notice in brackets next to the analogue price.
