  1. I have been looking through the Judith Edge kits for inspiration. I hope to have one of each of the last two pairs of locos that worked the line. The NBL 0-4-0 and the R&H 0-6-0. That said I am not averse to having some that never worked the line. I like the idea of the Dick Kerr battery locomotive which worked at Guardbridge and lasted into the seventies, just for something different.

  2. I was not sure where to put this but decided here is probably best.

This wiĺl be a slow burn project built alongside my 00 scale Glasgow Queen Street layout, so updates will be occasional as (slow) progress is made.

I like to have more than one project on the go and I like to work in different scales at the same time.

So I have gone for this!

Here is my first bash at a plan. I suspect I may tinker with it yet.

  3. We are at the messy bit now. The cobble sets are relatively small laser cut modules so all the joints need filled, sanded and the sets rescribed. I also made a plywood tool to help mark and scribe the sets on the tramway track curve. The pivot will be hidden by the pavement.

  4. Thanks Brian. I agree lights would be good. One in the tram would be particularly effective.

I have a couple of these Leeds trams which I got for pennies.

I am thinking to repaint them in Glasgow Corporation livery as a stopgap til I build the kits I have of Glasgow trams.

    Cheers

  5. Another great video Andy. Thanks for posting. I can confirm that some of those silver bullets made their way to Scotland. I used to work in Aberdeen and would visit the station at lunchtime. A couple of silver bullets would often be worked through the station at around 1pm. Most of course would be heavily weathered.I remember once seeing a brand new one not weathered at all, looked like a model!

    Cheers
