  1. ...apologies for my post above, I didn't realise that it couldn't be the Artist... Over you - Freddie & The Dreamers
  2. What have they done to the rain - The Searchers
  3. The wind cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix
  4. Bright lights, big city - The Animals
  5. The photo of DB993921 in David Larkin's book appears to have white handrails & black lamp brackets.
  6. That's one of the two that I have on pre-order. Looks fantastic.
  7. Another excellent issue. Many thanks Grahame.
  8. My 10+ year old Windows 7 Desktop PC started to give intermittent problems so I have now switched to a new Laptop with Windows 10. I do like it. I removed the pre-installed McAfee as Windows Defender is FOC & already installed. Just as on Windows 7 I use Firefox for browsing, DuckDuckGo as my Search Engine & Thunderbird for email. Easy migration, minimal tracking & minimal Cookies. I still use Office 97 although I also download Apache OpenOffice to cover the more recent file formats. Am using a USB Mouse as I can't get used to the touchpad. David
  9. Dave I plan to pre-order a couple, Black 100001B & Indian Red 100002A. Can you confirm whether these will be in the first production run? David
  10. Really enjoyed my visit yesterday. I didn't go last year so it's the first time I've been since the venue was moved to the Victory Academy which was a big improvement on the Gillingham Leisure Centre. Highlight for me was Melton Mowbray (North) as I have family connections in the area plus it showed the benefits of modelling in N Gauge for this type of layout. David
  11. Maybe they could consider selling the Presflos etc as kits leaving the modeller to assemble, paint and apply transfers. This would remove most of the Bachmann/Farish labour costs.
  12. Speaking personally there are items that I would happily purchase but are unavailable. I will be buying the new 8F in Early BR livery when it hits the shelves and assuming that Farish release a version in Late BR livery at some point in the future then I will purchase one of these also. I will also purchase at least two 25/3s if/when an updated version is available. Although I already have 4 Peaks (44, 45, 2x46) I will certainly purchase updated versions if/when released. I still use DC but would like to try a sound fitted model if any one of the above is released with pre-fitted sound. I have wagons on order from NGS, DJM & Revolution all of whom seem to be meeting latent demand. My point is that part of the problem is unavailability of models that I would willingly purchase. I can't believe that I am the only modeller in this position.
  13. Agree with all the above and probably a new chassis for the 44/45/46 with speaker etc. 2019 could be an expensive year...
  14. I placed an order on Monday afternoon & Royal Mail tracking was working by Tuesday morning. As has already been noted it depends on when Royal Mail collect parcels from Hattons. My parcel arrived this morning.
  15. The Black ones were the GWR version. I have all 4 of these but would also like Black with BR Numbering.
  16. Mermaids in Indian Red & black-liveried BR versions please.
  17. The G2 is available from Union Mills so I think it's unlikely that Farish would offer one as well.
  18. Maybe not the 37 or 47 but the Peak chassis needs retooling to make it DCC-ready so a new chassis similar to the Class 40 would make sense. I currently have 4 Peaks but would like a split-headcode version plus (although a DC user) I would be tempted by a model with on-board sound; both in green livery.
