  1. Good point. I am building the scenics and maybe the track to see how it goes on the "Oil Store" first before any serious Traction outlay. Although if the Heljan 26 is released on my slow timescale I might have to go for it. CS
  2. Custom id 7mm backscene with Shed Gable. CS
  3. A placement to try out. I had in my mind what I considered a definite plan until this trial unboxing. Rethink. CS
  4. Thanks Prime then spray Red Brick in Acrylic. I have seen a video of Fine Filler spread at an angle and wiped off to enhance the pointing which I haven't attempted before. Should be interesting. CS
  5. Fitters arrived. And useful for overall layout scaling measurements.
  6. Railway Laser Lines Store. The main focal point. Looking forward to building this kit over the next few months.
  7. Kendal MRC Askrigg Bank Sorry I don't have the link. CS
  8. Such a good long perspective of depth. The 56 looks a long distance away and in 7mm....! What is the total layout length Andy? CS
  9. Morning Andrew How much space in your opinion is needed to construct a full circle in feet and inches to create a "roundy"? I want to know the radius please Traction will be class 47 ie: Co-Co wheel arrangement maximum. Thanks CS
  10. Fuel Rig Buxton prototype courtesy of Mudmagnet.
  11. Yes. First impressions is a quality kit. Just got to do it justice hopefully in the detailing and a few different weathering techniques to suit.
  12. Featuring the Toton Fuel Cabin - A Railway LaserLines kit. A 4ft x 2ft "Micro" in 7mm - planning non existant I intend to make it all up as I see fit which should take about 8 Pages. Thanks for listening - I'll try not to bore you. A first foray into 7mm and will be a long initially experimental project when time permits transferring and upsizing 00 methods and knowledge with a hopefully not too steep learning curve factored in. Timeline is 80's Blue - Railfreight - Speedlink nothing from today but relatively flexible. I have decided to test the water first constructing the buildings and scenery before any expensive outlay of stock - maybe a Railfreight OAA - MM1 TTA Kit and Modelu figures to help with scaling. CS
  13. A like but not a like and overweathered maybe? Sad end as remember these great machines powering over Shap doubled up in the early 70's.
  14. Thanks for reply. Just the one locomotive running at any time maybe a Type 2 Class 33 0r the Heljan 26 eventually with sound. I will consider your recommendations but having the EZ system already it would be good to try and power it up to 5 amp?
  15. Good inspirational work Andy as a newcomer moving in to 7mm can I ask if you recommend the Bachmann EZ amp power booster?
  16. You must be very proud of your achievement. Stunning modelling.
