  2. Hope I'm not attempting to tell you how to suck eggs....apologies if I am....but I did not know until some one showed me! Hope they come in correct order
  3. Is that the Harris mk2 book +100 quid for 2nd hand ... Hear is a out side the box thought....I'll chip in 20quid need 4 more like minded individuals we get the mk2 stl files when ready? In return for 'research donation' To my mind I will never be able to draw the cad but can cook the files in oven at home and for us minority scales it's investing in the future of my own hobby! If you don't want to go down that route it's fine....it does feel a bit like prostitution but Hay ho! Any one else in?🦻 Blefuscu ....rm message me as still unable to send via rm message

  6. I'm shaking my bottles of resin as I speak!...there is some n gauge GUV and newspaper version on cults I'm using body with a etched brass side in 3mm might be useful to yourself cracking underframe in resin
  7. Oh boy can feel another payment to cults! If there going that way.?....or should I say YOU WILL PUT IT ON CULTS...😃 G
  8. Yep...for realistic operation then switchable to markers only for none mainline running, only as that is how the original lighting was setup! BUT when does head light come back on? Speed step 001? On dcc ....or when voltage applied to dc? Some would say retro step back to one grain of wheat bulb illuminating a light bar! As you can tell firmly sat on fence.....thanks to BR's crazy original set up you have a difficult call to make! May be a prototypical operation one to many as you will have hundreds of returns as you know modelers can't read instruction manual! 😃 Think I've just texted my self to 75% leave them on all the time switchable to markers only with function key! Your trains your call....some modelers will moan regardless😁 G
  9. Unless doing intensive shunting (so should have markers only switched on but becoming less used by crew) as soon as loco stops for a 'pause' be it in yard / shed/ loop the direction selector is placed to EO engine only or as some call it neutral ! This activates the second feature! The auto recline! Seat back feet up! Then this instantly activates function key 101 brew in hand 😄 G
  10. The set up always annoyed me when driving 60s when you stopped in a loop as soon as you come to a halt and place direction selector to EO head light goes out and the 3w! bulb is all that is illuminated the markers where very poor light if running in day mode and drivers side marker had blown when you stop no illumination at front! (Don't scream at me to look at FIP above side window but loop time is feet up and rest eyes time) very often I use to switch over to markers only only to not put head light on on departure...🙈 Are the new light cluster variety the same set up? Head lights in yards and loops look better off
  11. Don't forget dcc concepts bogie pick up springs for sliding on to 1.5mm axel
  12. Well a visit to Key model world show it would of been rude not to take pictures of plough brackets of the 37 on display....didn't have to put hv vest on nor crunch ballast!
  13. Looks like the hot plate will rattle uncontrollably at a round ¼ power setting.....just like the real thing! The dials and other cab details ...wow!
  14. 👀 need a decimal point first coal would be out side the shed not on conveyer belt to be stored or burnt...! Think a few Garston drivers tried faster at fiddlers Ferry but took longer to set back and start again! Did manage a distcharge with out stopping and without setting back! No one back at depot believed me...the model class cab is bloody amazing
  15. 20s 31s 37s 47s body mounted brackets...presume the others are same None fitted to 56s 60s have 'obstacle deflector' not a snow plough (although did clear line on S&C with one ...hit a 6ft drift with no damage)
  16. Looking good....is the 37 on the last one back from Mallaig with the sun setting behind the loco!
  17. Think nec show going to be bonkers...hope all goes well for keymodel team and first of many... 2334 brilliant who said modeling is dead G

  21. wow! its huge...thought it was a cameo type layout....how wrong i was!.....normal modelers use the back of a envelope or a bit of old wallpaper for planning brill...keep it up g
