  11. Broadsheet newspaper? Lime St?....must of been a top link driver on a milage job to Euston! To be fair any driver worth the title would of waited to Euston scores left on train...and first class was by the blocks at Euston!.....and there was always a left over magazine in the first class wc!🧐! Very often hidden in a copy of the times on tea time trip back north.....
  12. So would I be correct in assumption that as the wheels are both insulated this process of bogie construction 'could' be transfered to normal 2 rail as long as insulating the bogie block from the wheel tread and adding pickups! Or shorting out one side wheel to axel so only one side pickups needed. But you do make a compelling case for dead rail system. Love the updates
  13. My mum says I can't play out if you keep bullying me.....😉
  14. Bicc factory at Prescot....now thats a model waighting to be built c25s pushing in vans for loading...tight curves...signalbox platforms stick signals....and prototype you can leave all signals clear after 1800 when box gets locked out.... Lots of depot cats at Garston depot....your choice of shift lenght 4 or 14! One overtime mad driver was called sick lobster 🦞! Said he needed over time coz his little nippers where sick! 16. Depot cat/cats! Allerton depot had a few nasty depot cats use to sneak up on you in mess room and give you a walk on back of head if didn’t share butties! Can't say ever saw a rat though... Pussy going to have a oily bum.

  20. 12 euro to ship to UK. Don't quote me but on another forum discussion about shapeways import charges...under 135 you may get away with it as vat has been charged at source I got delivery worth 120 no charge...! Also bought sonic knife from 3djake 300+ from Austria no charge as they paid/was excluded in displayed price
  21. As far as I remember 507/8 tso the same mirror image from both ends...don't know about the 4th tso that was removed before 508s came north...spare cars went in to different 3car southern sets looked daft as different hight roof
  22. Thanks for response natterjack didn't know about the wheel rims...if I knew some one who could design 3d stl files!!🤔🤔 I and fellow 3mmers personally are well catered for in 3mm with wheels but still very intersting and may open possibilities for 14.2mm gauge wheels with the 2mm version. G
  23. The % for scale is what I want! The idea of 10x10 cube on slicer is a good idea. For the 507/8 the TSO needs the panto well removing but it's no big issue as can split from the other end cut and splice as its two full windows You mentioned wheels a few posts back ...the 3mm smallest is 8mm diameter (3ft 4inch in tt120) but as well the axel will need to be shortend to suit w irons...I saw on tt20 thread some Eastern Europe wheels where not over expensive
  24. you don't hang around ....yep just looked updates there tar very much. for scaling % i use the scale chart produced by another 3mm member but this was done when British tt120 was not a thing ....question 00 to 3mm is 75% Ho to 3mm is 86% etc what would you recommend for tt120 to 3mm and 4mm? G
  25. Why build one tt120 when you can build two!😁😄 It's all smoke and mirrors If the Hornby tt120 doom some pridict happens...im sure small supply market will step in to fill in demand and something like 3mm society will pop out at the other side if modelers want it
