  1. Bescot, Monday afternoon, these turning up was a pleasant surprise Cheers, Phil.
  2. Pics taken at side of Rotherham Steelworks, on the track down to the fishing pond. Yep, it's the MPI model. Faster than most people gave her credit for ! Not standard, I had the side mouldings removed and the swage lines in the bumpers filled, before a full respray in the original Caribbean Blue, plus a K&N induction kit and Stainless exhaust. Quite free-revving and I always liked the sound!! Pulled an indicated 125 MPH with 5 up (on my private test track officer!) on our way home from college, all those years ago!!! Even swapped the rear lights for some out of a Rover 100, with smoked instead of Orange indicators. The drilled and grooved disks didn't make it stop any better, they just made a weird noise! Fitted a boot lifting piston under the bonnet, so when you flicked the catch the bonnet lifted on its own. The original bonnet stay is in my garden with a bird feeder hanging off it All the joys of youth! Cheers, Phil. PS Am I seeing things, or has someone on RMWeb got a press-shot of a Nightfire Red Metro GTI as their profile pic??!!
  3. I'm hoping everyone says "that's not old enough to be on here!", rather than "that's not good enough to be on here!" There cant be too many of them left now, bought this old girl in 1994 when she was less than a year old, and she's now sat in my garage! Cheers, Phil.
  4. I wonder if they all got used, or they were just shuffled into a different order Cheers Phil.
  5. The row of Tinsley shunters always seemed to be present ! Cheers, Phil.
  6. Someone forgot to apply the varnish before the new transfers were added, you can still see the backing sheet Cheers, Phil.
  7. I had no idea what type of plane it is, so thanks for the info !! That's quite an 'arty' shot for me, looking through my pics, I haven't really got many with things other than the main subject in them. These pics of 73117 at Barrow Hill are much more typical for me ! Cheers, Phil.
  8. Some of the less common, or unique, liveried examples. Cheers, Phil.
  9. Same place as my last pic, but 4 hours later, see's 2 more Colas stablemates have arrived. Is this 20% of the total Colas loco fleet ?! Cheers, Phil.
  10. 60076 and 60087, at Doncaster today, next to an unidentified WCRC 47. Cheers, Phil.
  11. It's 37800. It's actually got White numbers on the cabside and black ones on the nose-end, not that they can be seen too well ! It's in the GIF livery, from its days in Spain. Cheers, Phil.
  12. A couple of examples, looking rather sorry for themselves. Today, at Barrow Hill. Cheers, Phil.
  13. 5580, in the snow a couple of years ago, during her visit to the Elsecar Heritage Centre. Cheers, Phil.
  14. 31452 at Barrow Hill today, where it collected Tornado's support coach. Cheers, Phil.
