Have Fun! Last time I went there I was surprised by a large GW Tank engine - needless to say I wasn't amused.

  2. Yes ,but shouldn't this go in the model shop guide?!!
  3. Thanks Southernman. If your going to do the same, check out railtech-models.com for their decals. I hadn't heard of them until my good friend Mr Angell showed me their website last week, the day after I individually applied the numbers and lettering. They have some useful sets to make life a bit easier Steve

Tasty piped brake van in postion I hope too?

  11. Judging by his rating, yes quite a lot.And despite all the practice he has, he just does not improve. There must be many gullable people out there
  12. Makes me want to take up O gauge!
  13. Hi JB,Glad to hear of your positive experience from this site. I tend to use double sided sticky foam pads from stationers to hold the speaker in place. As David posted earlier, a bead of bluetac around the speakers metal plate will create the same effect as the black plastic enclosure box sealing it to the recess and holding it firmly in place. All Bachmann do is screw the speaker down using what looks like body fixing screws.
  14. Hi JB . I don't need to add anymore, as David has covered it pretty well. This is where Rm Web is great, when people come together to help. Hope you have figured it out now, And welcome to DCC sound.Enjoy. Steve
  15. Are you trying to install the speaker with it fitted in its plastic baffle box? Bachmann supply their sound equiped loco's without this box. Prise the speaker carefully out of its box and fit, you will then find all is well space wise. Steve
  16. This might make some recoil in horror!! 50006 Neptune permanently up on jacks, after gravity started the project for me
  17. He disassembles loco's and sells the parts as spares. I have purchased off him recently after two of my 50's crashed to the floor, smashing parts including both chassis blocks I couldn't buy as replacements elsewhere. He may be expensive, but worth it to re-instate the loco's, one of which performed admirably at Warley this weekend.
  18. Noticed this Toby up for sale, alas if you are married or in a relationship you cannot bid!! Toby tram
  19. And someone hs reported his listing for keyword spamming
  20. The NEM pocket is still moulded to the bogie frame.
  21. Hattons are now showing the New Bachmann 47 in Parcels livery in stock. Just a shame it wasn't available at Warley, as it was the number one item on my shopping list. http://www.hattons.co.uk/ProductList/ReleasesByMonthAndYear.asp
