  1. Looking excellent Jeff you must be well pleased with progress to date well done that man
  2. Just for your information I am very interested in this subject as I am currently building my trackwork for the first time.it is therefore of great importance to me personally to take in as much feedback back as possible about this new track. I do however feel that some members expect the perfect ready to run track with out compromise and seem to expect as much which in fairness the Peco is just a none starter given the costs involved. My comment was simply an observation on the interest that it has caused.

    Dapol 08

Does anyone know if Dapol intend doing another run of Green with wasp strips as most seem to have been sold already ???
  4. You are spot on I mean blimey 79 pages and the product is only getting into the shops ....... Thought for the Christmas period could be .......JUST GET LAID .....with Peco Track
  5. Larry I'm not sure if this level of Anorakism is funny or just worrying for the sanity of all involved especially for the 'average modeller ' but I do think that this emotion is spot on ....
  6. Well spotted I think you right there Tom Perhaps it's spot the deliberate mistake.....
  7. Many thanks for taking those pics Mike makes a big difference spraying with primer paint and once it has been ballasted and weathered I reckon it's a win win situation for us ' average modellers with no engineering experience' .... One thing is for sure one knows the trains will run well on Peco trackwork,
  8. Hi Andy. Thanks for your interest still without central heating so should be in the man cave modelling as it's warmer in there than the house to be honest but work keep sending me out and about the Queens Realm so nice a cosy in my wagon. Layout wise I'm busy doing wiring sketches for the Megapoints servo controĺ and have received some of the Hobbyking servos which work out very cheap compared to point motors so looking good. Once I have some electrical work done I will update the thread
  9. I wish you all the luck in the world Jeff The rolling stock wheels should hopefully re-gauge fairly easily though you might well have sore fingers after a few racks of coaches The real challenge is going to be the steam locos I presume, its removing all the valve gear etc that would put me off. In the meantime you have the biggest ever static model ...maybe you should get some grass on that newly laid track as if the line did close
  10. Jeff it's your railway you can do what you want with it .I m a great admirer of people who do EM or P4 etc I could do the trackwork etc no problem but the regaugeing of locos would be my downfall...... well unless I were to have just class 24 locos only .
  11. Nice one / two Jeff you are a dark horse aren't you .... they are addictive aren't they should come with a 'wealth' warning in my humble opinion ........I think a class 25 is a good bet and a class 40 would be wonderful .... whatever comes next I don't think I can say no I'm afraid If I get a down day a quick movement and a bit of shunting with my Class 24 makes me smile again .....such a SB I'm afraid
  12. Looking amazing now after all your hard work mate well done. Very glad to see you have purchased that wonderful Class 24...... they are good aren't they .... how many are you going to purchase
  13. I have always said that the UK market is a tiny fraction of the Peco market and have recently been told from a very reliable source that is in fact 5 percent of their production. With this in mind I would suggest that the fact that they have even considered producing this track system I think that we as Modellers should be grateful for what is on offered and should stop gripping about small compromises
  14. Lets make the 'dangerous ground' crammed to overflowing .....CLASS 40 please .......pretty please
  15. Looking good like the idea of using cork for the inlay concrete in the trackwork ....clever
