  1. Hi mate, Glad to see i'm not the only one in rip it up mode at the moment. glad the mojo is back. I do like the look of that 150. Cheers, Stu.
  2. Fantastic layout, the tube is really impressive. Great layout, never seen a model shop modelled before. Inspired.
  3. Hi Neil, The new signals look really really good, as does the fencing and the NR yard. Great modelling. You can never have enough English Electric traction ! Cheers, Stu.
  4. Looking good Ian. On track for debut then. Think I need a tame signal consultant as well. Cheers, Stu.
  5. Hi mate, That static grass looks really really top drawer. Definitely worth the effort. And that pic of 37683 is something else. Brilliant. Cheers, Stu.
  6. Fantastic pair of 56's, superbly observed and modelled.
  7. Hi Richard, Brilliant layout, I will enjoy following this very much. Cheers, Stu.
  8. It's amazing the little details you bring up and remember, great stuff. I seem to remember now you've jogged my memory a few vans on the western had the destination chalked just about anywhere in the general vicinity of the boards ! Vans look great , as do the new cement PCAs btw Pete . Cheers, Stu.
  9. Superb layout. Great location, great era. Have been following for a while but thought I should put it down in writing
  10. Hi Pete, Like the look of the bridge - good to have it at an angle to break from the norm and more like reality. 26s look good too. Nice to have them for a pet project. Will it become "Strathllanbourne" for the day sometime?? Stu.
  11. Great pic of Bath Road. I'm guessing the Vac in the shed may have been 15 as it looks like the DCWA period of 88/89, though could have been 12 or possibly 21 though not sure if 21 had the centre plough. Scanned in loads of my old pics recently, hope you don't mind one from 1989 (undated, at the time you never think you'll forget the date/train!) . Agree she was one of the better ones that they lost. Cheers, Stu.
  12. LOL ! I would have done 45 in from Oxford and also gone for 7 on the up midnight. Would take the risk like Gwiwer hoping she could negotiate entering Padd without ruining the trackplan ! Cheers, Stu.
  13. Hi Phil, I love the changes to the station, and the fact that you are brave enough to make them ! I often look at Westquay and think I'll make a few changes / tweaks, but don't have the guts to do it. Well done for going for it mate. Everything evolves in life, so I'm sure a freight layout evolving into one whose focal point is a mainline station is no different. Cheers, Stu.
  14. Love the picture of number 3. Looking closely have you gone for matt black roof on this one? (apologies if I missed it earlier in the thread) - Always thought the black roof / red beam vacs looked better a little weather beaten in real life, and with a matt black roof in model form. Can't wait to see the finished version of 3 on your layout. Seeing this has got me thinking to promote my idea up the to do list for number 6, 14 or 47 in similar style. Roll on payday ! Cheers, Stu.
  15. Love this layout and those factory units. Will be taking tips on how to make my one look as good, and then apply retro 80's look to it. Keep the pics coming , great layout. B)
  16. Hi Jo, I will be watching with interest how your layout develops. I am also an advocate of the "There's only one way to find out" adage. Hope you do decide to let either 31 or 49 sneak in one day Stu.
  17. has not set their status
