    Holidays and work have prevented any progress but a little Hunslet has finally arrived (I'd realised a supplier was offering to fit a DCC chip for less than the price of the chip but had to wait until one was available) it runs well but will probably need a tender for some extra pickups and like the rest of the 009 locos needs a good weathering 😀

    Had our first trip on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, was hoping to have a run on the Llanberis Lake Railway but they couldn't be bothered running the last advertised train so we and the other people they turned away kept our money

    Where better for a holiday than the original station house at Snowdon Ranger? Would have been rude not to nip to Rhyd-Ddu for the standard shots

    When I built the railway I had to squeeze the track onto the available space which meant the track ran along the edge of the board which caused a couple of problems, their was no foreground for pictures and a big risk of trains going overboard so I've added a 30mm baton on the front to ease these issues
