Do you have a recycling/gifting group in your area? I'm likewise upgrading and there are plenty of people who can use what I have as surplus. [EDIT] I didn't realise how many people needed the input until I joined the group (on FB) and have managed to declutter a lot this way.

The double space after the full stop became redundant with the advent of proportionally spaced typewriters. Compositors have never used it. It was used when monospacing was the norm. It's been 40-50 years since it was the norm. MS Word now flags up incorrect grammar when used.
