Just at that point here they are standing there were (maybe still are) some roseate tourmaline crystals. I do have a pic of them somewhere. Must go back to find them. Tourmaline is not beloved of igneous petrologists when studying thin sections - it's opaque and black. It is, however the important ore of boron. P.S. Glad the planning paid off. P.P.S. Style was carp - it was supposed to be a formal report. Ignored the 50% completely And then they wonder why they fail.
