  1. Just re read the entire thread... Some incredible modelling on the layout. I live in Elgin so very interested in what you’ve created, being just down the road from me (and 30 years in the past ) A spectacular layout with unbelievable attention to detail even down to original timetables and workings etc. A lot of inspiration to be had! Keep up the good work. Ryan
  2. Hard to distinguish some of those photos from the real thing. Been in an out of Waverley many times. Unreal modelling Ryan
  3. Welcome (back) Joe I like the sound of your plans and look forward to seeing how you get on with them Ryan
  4. Brilliant so far - looking forward to seeing the progress especially after your previous work Ryan
  5. Really interested in parcels stuff myself so looking forward to seeing progress Ryan
  6. Great progress so far, looking forward to seeing more. Very tidy work with the gantry Ryan
  7. Hi Alain Brilliant work - you’ve captured so many little details and it feels very Scottish. Look forward to seeing more Ryan
  8. Sorry to hear that. Looking forward to seeing the progress on the new section. Only just caught up on this thread after 4 years Ryan

  10. Superb layout, and I love the Royal Mail DMU, I'd love one of those for my planned parcels layout. Ryan
  11. Love the photos - the filling station looks even better at night. I recently received a copy of the Rail Express Modeller Yearbook and it had your class 377 in, a superb model as I've said before, and a great guide. Ryan
  12. Superb layout, just been through the thread and seen the progress. I especially like the warehouse you've built, it looks suspiciously like the one I'm going to build for my own layout, now that I've seen it Great work Ryan
  13. Just picked up Railway Modeller and loved the article. Superb Layout. Ryan
  14. No doubt the Fiesta has been nicked and is being ragged around a council estate as we speak
  15. The FCC 377 is unbelievable, the whole layout is outstanding. The Petrol station - possibly one of the best pieces of modelling I've ever seen. Looking forward to updates. Ryan
  16. I appear to have lost all of my old lego, and it's hideously expensive these days. I fancied the Maersk Container Ship - £110. I left the shop without it! Ryan
  17. Love the 5th shot down, the VEP looks right at home. Signal is brilliant work. I don't think I'd have noticed the difference in scale to be honest.. Ryan
  18. The brutes are fantastic, I noticed that Bachmann are selling their own (plastic) ones for £7.50 each, which I think is outrageous!
  19. Sounds like a good plan as well, although if it isn't cold and raining outside, you wont want to be modelling indoors!
  20. Fantastic layout Pete, definitely given me a bit of inspiration for my next project. Don't get me started on house moves, not long moved in here and with any luck it'll be the last time! Keep up the excellent work. Ryan
  21. Hi Richard As many on here I have been following you for a few years on youtube and really love the layout. Look forward to more photos Ryan
  22. Hampshire Hog; I do occasionally, wonderful place, especially for railway enthusiasts. Loving your recreation of the sleeper Ryan
