The ECML in Northumberland again for today. As most of you know Ulgham Lane crossing is north of Morpeth, Widdrington is a few miles further north. The Widdrington photo actually shows a train passing the old brickworks just to the north of the station, at Stobswood. Warkworth is several miles beyond Widdrington. The train is passing the site of the station. So far we've had almost exactly 8,500 images out of a total of around 32,000 taken in the UK so you never know what might come up - but many of them are somewhat newer, going up to 2003 when Dad and I moved to digital photography. The quality of some of the remaining (very) old photos is probably not as good as the ones I've posted so far, some of the slides were not in good condition. David

Many thanks. They were taken on the same day, one slide had faded more than the other. It is also very difficult to get the colours to be consistent in Photoshop when working on very old slides. David
