  1. Hello Jack, the 47 has a Howes sound chip. A Tamper waits for its next duty as 33118 propels a 4TC away from Leaford Town on its journey to Waterloo via Leaford Junction.
  2. Yes Phil, but it is all a bit temporary at present as can be seen by photos below, also don't look to close at the carpentry. Kevin. Leaford Millway Road Station above the line and platform - as I said all a bit temporary.
  3. Many thanks for the excellent video Phil, I will have to get a new dusting brush though - sorry about that!! Look forward to seeing you soon. Here is one of my photos (although my Kodak EasyShare struggles to match your camera/phone Phil) of 31414 entering the Port of Leaford. Cheerio for now.
  4. Phil I am glad that you enjoyed yourself and just as well you didn't fall into the dock as there are no lifebelts provided yet, you are always welcome. Many thanks for the excellent photos you make my work look good. Cheerio for now. Kevin
  5. A Hampshire Unit calls in at Leaford Millway Road, and passengers are waiting at Leaford Town, many thanks for the signs Nigel your a star. Cheerio for now. Kevin
  6. Hello Nigel, you are partly responsible for the vehicles as you gave them to me! My thanks indeed, anyway a couple of picks of the new docks area although there is still detail work to be done. Cheerio for now, Kevin.
  7. A couple more trucks:- firstly a modified Schuco Merc on a 4 wheel flatbed just picked up a load of treated timber from Leaford Distribution Depot and secondly:- a Base Toys Leyland T45 Roadtrain Cab mounted on a Knightwing Volvo F10 chassis being unloaded in the yard. Cheerio for now. Kevin
  8. Yes Scott I have everything up there, but do you think I can find the bl?*dy brick grab for the crane!! nevermind looking forward to meet up soon. Here's another vehicle I have been tampering with. Best regards, Kevin.
  9. I had reason to rummage around in the loft t'other day looking for some bits and pieces when I came across this leftover from Leaway Park, if I remember correctly it started off with a modified chassis from a Keilcraft / Scankit / Knightwing ? Foden 8 legger Tipper and then fitted with (I think) a Faller / Wiking / Preiser? Lorry Loader and originally it had a Keilcraft / Scankit / Knightwing Mercedes Cab, I have chosen to refurbish it with a later I think Schuco Mercedes Actros/Atego? Cab. Anyway it is delivering concrete blocks for another extension!!! on the new docks area of Leaford, unfortunately its brick grab is missing and having to be unloaded by forklift. Best Regards, Kevin
  10. Hi owentherail, Sorry for the delay in my response and thank you for your question, the Cartic 4 is a much cut and shut Hornby Cartic 2 suitably loaded with Oxford Diecast Escorts and Capris from the correct era the layout is set in, also as part of the same train I use Oxford Diecast Volkswagen T25 Vans and minibuses again which again are suitable for the same era. A Happy New Year to all. Kevin.
  11. Merry Christmas ess1uk, to answer to your question here are a couple of pictures, please excuse the bluetack nothing is finalised yet but hopefully you will get an idea of how the dockside will look when finished, many thanks for your interest. Happy New Year Kevin.
  12. Merry Christmas Pete, and a Happy New Year. Kevin
  13. Sorry to disturb you Phil, just to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, keep up the good work it's looking great. Kevin
  14. Tidworth's looking good mate, I am looking forward to an operating session soon, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Kevin.
  15. I have a Tamper and an NSE Inspection Saloon and I think both are superb and worth the money. I don't think I could build either from scratch or modify something else for the money that you pay Brittania Pacific. And don't forget the NSE Inspection Saloon is based on a different prototype than the latest Bachmann superb offering. Best regards Kevin
  16. Many thanks for your comment David, Here is another photo.
  17. Hi Jamie, there are 7 tracks underneath the first two from the left (see photo below) are fitted with block detectors and therefore able to be controlled by the computer although at present only one is controlled in this way, the second photo shows various representations of train lengths as all are different.
  18. Ok Jamie, Here is a photo of the other end of the hidden fiddle road as taken previous, it shows the locos that have brought the trains in, uncoupled on the uncoupling ramps, and are now waiting for the loco the other end to take the train out so they can be released to take out their next working.
  19. And yes Jamie the branch line mentioned above disappears into a hidden fiddle road (or underworld as PaulRhB described) underneath the Leaford Town board, here are a couple of pictures that hopefully may clarify things:
  20. Many thanks for that Andy, Railroad & Co is still working well thanks to your help and advice on it's first introduction, it has provided me with many hours of enjoyment setting it up - I can even use the Flagman now!! - mind you the bloody computer has nearly been thrown threw the window a few times!! You are always welcome to call in for a cuppa if you are passing through my part of darkest Hampshire. As I have mentioned I always like to show a picture whenever I post so here is another one:- Class 33/2 coupled to a Brittania Pacific NSE Inspection Saloon waits for time to proceed to Leaford Town.
  21. On my return from work, I had a bit of a photo session, and this is the only one that I was pleased with, I hope that you like it to.
  22. Many thanks Ian, but I think we will have to have a running session when I come back from holiday - I go very shortly with work commitments between now and then, but It will be something to look forward to for when I come back. Kevin.
  23. Hi Jamie sorry for the delay, I always like to show a photo whenever I post and my camera has had some problems, and I also have to admit that I have lost my interest in Leaford and railways in general not being anywhere near the railway room for a few days. Anyway in answer to your question yes I have put the lights in the 59 using LED's and such, and as my camera is feeling much better after some minor repairs, I have taken some more pictures I hope that you like them.
  24. Hi Jamie, My thanks for your kind comments, unfortunately Leaford no longer goes out to shows anymore the extensions to the layout mean that it is permanently fixed in its room at home, I don't know where you are based but you would be welcome to visit at some time convenient perhaps you could pm me. Another picky, 37035 makes ready to start an early morning permanent way train away from Leaford Town Yard heading for Eastleigh.
