    Just having a clearout in my lock-up garage and found some stuff wrapped in pages of the Daily Mail dated May 29. 1978 with full-page advert for Vauxhall Chevette Hatchback at prices from £2291 to £2920 including fitted front seat belts, car tax and VAT at 8%

      The price tags on the Chevette SR and HSR must have made interesting reading at the time.
