  1. Well done those at Warley. 36 quid off 25%. That's very very good for 4 days in to to the project. Let's have another good day tomorrow and give it as much of a push as we can. Alistair
  2. I don't think that would be an issue, Matt. If I were given the chance, that would be one of the ones that I would have. At the end of the day if you are going to order the 11 coach pendo then there definitely is not much of an problem! Alistair
  3. 20% done Hopefully now that hurdle is out of the way but still a long way to go let's keep pushing it! Alistair
  4. I think Jason has said that if if is getting close that some of his orders will be pushed on to kickstarter to push us over the limit. As I think that once it is made they will have no problem selling on the rest of them. Alistair
  5. Just updated my pledge. Spoken to my mate who has decided he wants one too, so mine now stands 3 x 11 car sets. A couple more pledges and we will top the magic £40k Wish I could help at Warley but I have to work which I'm not happy about but I have no days holiday available Alistair
  6. Click on the 11 car pledge then enter £570 as the pledge amount. That will get you 2 11 car sets Alistair
  7. If you are doing 2 11 coach sets do you only have to pay for the postage once or twice? Alistair
  8. Backed (Not that I want it though) Alistair P.S. I have posted the kickstarter link to 8 groups on facebook!
  9. If some one would be able to forward on the first email to me as I dint seem to have received it I would be most greatful. Pm me and I will send you my email address. Thanks Alistair
  10. Signal inside the NEC. Hehehe, cracking joke there mike! As useful as it maybe to let people do it there, the metal work in the hall seems to stop most data signals going through. The delivery of the extra coaches seemed to be a colas 66 and what looked to be OCA type wagons. Alistair
  11. If we spoke nicely to Andy could we get the logo, put on the top of RMWeb, on the scrolling advert thing. Or if he's really generous as a static on the site heading. if you don't ask you don't get! That way we can get as much visibility. to get it out to as many people as possible. Might be possible to get something similar on the other forums too! Failing that see if we can get an update in the next modellers mags so that there is something in there whilst the kickstarter is open. Alistair
  12. I have already bombarded facebook on all of the n gauge and modern image pages that I am a member of. When you get the new leaflets can you send me a few, we are at the Canterbury show just before the finish date, so I can put leaflets out then to try and pick up some last minute backers. Alistair
  13. The way I have read Jason's reply is, to make use of the kickstarter as a bit of market research. If the project brings in 50% of funding then Jason can decide whether the project will sell at the higher price and produce it. But it all depends on the kickstarter being run. I think that the best plan is it continue with the kickstarter and see what comes of it, hopefully it works and we will get a very good model at an exceedingly good price. Alistair
  14. Now that to me is very good news that Rapido may be willing to take a punt on this as a general release item. I am still very much hopeful that the kickstarter will be successful so that we can get a nice priced model but if it doesn't at least we still have the hope that I will come. Looking forwards to putting down for my models as soon as I can. Going to be signing up for kickstarter so that I can do it straight away! Alistair
  15. It's not the first time it has happened. One other time was when a driver was booked to do a turn using a DMU that he did not sign, so they put out a 2+2 formation to keep the service running. Alistair
  16. Straight down the hill from the Kidderminster station, on the same side of the road, just after the tyre place. About 3/4 minutes. I've always found price quite good to be honest. Alistair
  17. Thanks for the pics Jim was going to ask to see if anyone knew what 70's were in bescot on Friday. As an asside anyone know where the 47 has gone as it wasn't there when I went past earlier. Alistair
  18. Problem with doing that is the €5 flat starting rate that you have to pay for each file. By having everything in 1 file = 1 start fee = €5, so 4 files = 4 start fees = €20 that is almost a third of the cost of the N gauge Kirow crane. I decided to put multiple wagons that I had done, in to one file, just to save on this starting cost. Alistair
  19. Has there been a picture if the other side yet? Need it to get started on my repaint. Alistair
  20. Woo hoo I can get my order in soon then! We may have a rake of these running for the Ricoh show on kinlet wharf. Alistair
  21. They are working on the cad drawings at the moment, according to the latest club members magazine. Got a feeling it's going to be a while yet! Alistair
  22. In an earlier episode of downtown abbey they get on a correct LNER train for the 1920's. But in the background you have an 08 shunter in the yard and the loco shed has also got modern scaffolding around it. Alistair
  23. Oh no! They look very good. (Wallet running off down the road) Alistair
  24. I would expect that it is for the use if the livery more than the Loco itself. As without the livery the model is pointless! DRS have only ever allowed a sole transfer producer to do transfers, hence R3sprays and the one in Lincoln one before it. I think there is/was a payment to DRS's chosen charity involved in the deal in this instance. If I remember correctly. This could have some bearing on the situation. Alistair
