    has taken the couplings off a peco brake van to try and fit some sprat and winkle couplings. Now, where did I put those instructions

      they did but not well at all 1 of the bogies was completely knackered. they have been converted to dummies as they will affect breakers in the fiddle yard if they are runners

    has worked out that a HTA would be quite easy to make in t gauge. that is giving me naughty ideas. hopefully it will hold off until they produce a chassis that can be bodged in to a 60, 66 or a 67

    I am looking forward to the new pantographs as it means i wont have to get a class 90 one to do my NMT pantograph coach. I am hoping that the 'other models that we are in the planning stages for' will be an 87 or a 90 or both as anything earlier there isnt really the stock in dapols catalogue and it would tie up all of the WCML Elecs and would suit the Mk 3's and the Freightliner spinesand are perfect for Kinlet Wharf to update all the old farish locos and Lima hybrid 87s that are the current Power.     managed to weather my 3 Dapol and 2 farish steel wagons and 1 cargowagon. only got 5 wagons and 30 locos to do for friday afternoon to go to blackburn

    I have had the opposite problems to you. I have had about 25 farish locos and 12 Dapol ones and so far, apart from my first EWS 66 from the first batch (66008) which sounds like a bag of spanners (my own fault i didnt oil it), i have had no problems with any of my Dapol stock and had to send back 6 of my farish ones (2 pre Bachmann and 4 post), and they tried to charge me for each one even though they were recent releases only a couple of months btween Bachmann shipping to customers to me shipping them back. it just shows it really is just the luck of the draw as to wether you get a good one or a bad one, touch wood i will be still be lucky as i have just got my 153's and not got them out yet.

    from what i have been told, they both went to a depot in bristol, but i cant remember the name of the place at the moment!! one was left there and the other was moved up to the midlands (possibly the Freigthliner container terminal in birmingham but again not good with names) but as the lickey was closed for works it came through Kidderminster and Stourbridge at some ungodly time yesterday morning. something like 03.30. My contact that I have had no idea that it was coming up until 02.30 and decided against waking me up which was the right idea. Alistair
