  1. Jake You do realize that BATUS is the Royal Army's training camp based in Canada and not in a desert and the green and sand camo is used because BATUS is situated on the great planes of Canada where there is a mixture of dry grass and green grass hence the colours used.
  2. Well any wagon and locos from 1960's / 70's & 80's you could use some of the wagon ones on some of the more modern engines as they use a standard type iron.
  3. Hello All I have just added a fret of three types of 4mm Loco & Wagon Lamp Irons to my range. You will get 24 of each type of lamp iron and there is a folding jig for each type on the border of the fret.

  6. You can have more than one expansion gap on a rail and stagger them. Jim the layout is looking good

  11. For info for others the two beams running the length of the in the middle are there so that wheeled vehicles can be driven across the cradle and used as a war flat to transport them.

  15. No it has the standard 2ltr Essex V4 which I have fully rebuilt. It's all in bits at the moment away having all of the body & paint done (Link below in signature)
