It's been a few months since any updates Mostly due to the amount of work that little layouts has seen and the impending opening of our own model shop so things have been very hectic Things have slowly progressed in the back ground with the layout and I will post new pictures in due course. The layout has two shows booked this year The Corby and district model society in October And we are honoured to be invited to the gaugemaster 40th anniversary show which we are delighted to attend. In the meantime keep an eye out for our shop opening which we are so excited about. Please come and support us and our business venture

Thanks Ian I now have 4 tugs n love them I'm going to concentrate on the 08s n shunter varieties next which will serve on the micro layout that will sit in the shop

More greenery and fencing up Bit if weathering on a seacows too Still lots of detail to add in then I can get the other board in and start work on that

A bit of foliage has sprouted around ralphingley today Also depot doors fitted And another 60 has arrived, that's 4 stabled here now, think I have an obsession haha Lots of details to start adding now

I have now completed the point operating system Using O gauge rail with a brass wire pin soldered on and into the tie bar The rail sits in a plastic tube that goes into the frame and held in place using electrical cable holders Works a treat and is easily repairable if needed Also a few details have been added to the inside of the single road shed Benchs, tools and pipes

More progress on the backscene and the hard standing is taking shape with some colour to it. Needs toning down a bit as its a little dark.

That's great Mike, it certainly inspired me, I love looking at a picture and thinking can I model that in s small space This kind of escalated a little but the basics are there haha Thank you for liking our Feb page too Mike

Thanks mate, got the buffers and numbers and plates in the post today so I can crack on a little more with them

I managed to bag a couple more tugs over Christmas Although they needed rebuilding, what was there the previous owner had kept in good condition Chassis tested, and running nicely Frames re attached Ploughs fitted Cabs refitted New transrail decals and numbers on there way One will be 084 and I'm searching for another number to do the second, possibly 037. Still need to get buffer sets for each Couplings and pipes Nameplates Horns , I believe 37s fit also Windscreens Wipers And under frame parts for one loco, If anyone has any of these bits not needed pls pm me as some of them are hard to get
