I should be checking out of Hotel Treliske next Tuesday after 6 weeks of care by the NHS. Can't wait to get back to my home bed, but will miss the wonderful staff for whom I will be eternally grateful

Another jolly game of hide and seek with the folding sack truck last night, that's 2 hours of my life I won't get back. It was where I left it of course. I'm convinced the thing can cloak!

I was contemplating a new layout, it involved a single slip, I got one and panicked.
Perhaps I'll use two back to back points instead, much easier to comprehend...

Testing a customer's dcc fitted standard 2-6-4 tank engine, buzzing and short circuit on the programming track. Opened it up to then realise it was my own loco - no decoder lol

Is it just me that finds the term "chip" as grating as "Train Station". In my mind chips are for Friday tea or individual electronic components. Oddly I am OK with the term "chipping" a locomotive though.........
