Part of the fun of modelling for me is the planning and noodling and I have rarely built any layouts mainly to living a nomadic life. I think that modelling on extreme budgets can be done and although it may not be finescale Anyway keep the faith and hopefully you'll be able to achieve some of your ideas.

Thanks Pete, it's been a while but the mojo is back and raring to go..
Yes Gromit is never far away
I have had this idea in my head for some time and hopefully I will be able to do it some justice and actually some of the idea was the viewing locations and vistas, certainly going to have a go at it.

Lovely pics Will and you have caught them well. Looking through my original books the other day realised how much I loved em as a kid..

The third pic, it wasn't till I looked at static grass on banking that I realised it was the model and not a real pic! excellent work Tom, shame I couldn't make it to RMwebLive.

As ever Pete am impressed with you work and always look forward to see you posts. I agree that the extra space lets the scene seem less constricted. Hope to see this one day.. Keep up the good work.

Wondered how you were getting on with this Lisa, good to see some progress and liking your 3way.

First I thought it was Templot, but looking like an interesting plan. Agree fitting stuff in on small plans is often harder than big ones. Looking forward to seeing the build.

Yes I downloaded that too Richard then I saw iDraw and although it is Payware it is pretty neat and have been using it quite a bit at work. I have always liked AI but just can't justify the cost..

Thx Jerry, aiming to improve or is that becoming obsessional..
