    Just been shown the mess left when my friends moved into their new house - to find that all the copper pipes, electrical cable, radiators and even boiler had been stolen by scumbags. It isn't just railways being hit by metal thefts.

      ouch.. may not be insurance though - if the items were in the sale and were stolen before the sale completed it may well be the sellers insurance !

      I shall talk to the chippy and see what says, good chance to see if while he's doing one job he'll do another 'small one' and do my baseboard bracing 8)
