  1. Merry Christmas everyone

  2. Many years ago now of course but Aylesbury (High Street) used to be joined to the WCML at Cheddington.
  3. Lovely engines apart from their liveries; I much prefer unlined green or black! I bet the run up the Lickey was impressive though.
  4. Advanced orders now being accepted for Class 22 Hardback book by David Wilson http://www.westernlegacypublications.com/class22hardbackbook.htm
  5. And a nice radiator to keep you warm through the winter months !
  6. Excellent pictures, I love the Duchess; if only.....................................
  7. I must admit my livery preference for any GWR Engine was always green, however the unlined black is certainly gaining my interest, especially for my chosen period of late 50's early 60's. Well done Frank another masterpiece!
  8. Then you need to goto http://rail.staging.swlines.co.uk/ type in Dawlish and see when the next train is due!
  9. Progress, Outbuilding beginning to look like an outbuilding!

  10. Anything Stainer Black 5, 8F & Duchess for me, not forgetting anything with a copper cap!
  11. Thanks for the info, it's certainly a nice job.
  12. Excellent panel, how did you achieve the Panel printing?

  14. I think some of the freight went via Yarnton, so you would missed it if you were on Oxford Station. You must have seen the 14:00 Bletchley to Oxford Parcels which produce a Bletchley Black 5 or Std 5 (even a 8F on occasion).
  15. I grew up alongside the Bletchley to Oxford Branch; there was always plenty to see. Black 5's & 8F's and also Std 4 & 5's plus 9F's on the Irthlingborough to South Wales Iron Ore Trains. Winslow will miss out on some of the Trip workings Between Bletchley Yard and Swanbourne Sidings. Unique M79900/1 Railcars on the Buckingham / Banbury Branch working in conjunction with 84002 / 84004 on the Push/Pull trains. Happy days!
  16. What a lovely layout and Great Western too
  17. Frank, A nice weathering job on your Ivatt. We had 41222 at Bletchley for working the Wolverton to Newport Pagnell Branch.
  18. Rosie was nearly 14, unfortunately she had the big 'c'. We lost her just over a year ago. Looking forward to seeing your layout develop; wish I had room for Moretonhampstead in 7mm, will have to settle for 4mm.
  19. I think Henry as some doubts about the plan! Wish my Rosie was still with me to help out.
  20. Thanks for the Class 08 images. Your Pannier Tank looks a 'beaut'; looking forward to see this develop.
  21. Hi Mark, Just interested to see how detailed / realistic the Class 08 is and if it was a kit built, who supplied it. David
  22. Nice shots; do you have any close up's of the Class 08?
  23. Hello Frank, Looking forward to seeing this develop. The Shed looks busy, a Pannier Tank and a Manor!
