"No Woy, that wasn't what was meant by brexit"....
-
"There's no such thing as bad publicity" eh, Max ???
-
"This remarkable, sometimes incoherent transcript illustrates a phantasmagoria of fear, terror, grief, exaltation and finally breakdown." "Its' highlights have been compressed on this recording to make their own disquieting points."
-
"You say workbench and I say work table, let's call the whole thing off" :-)
-
£200 for a Hornby 2012 B/G VEP. Two words spring to mind, the 2nd of which is 'off'....

-
75 minute bus ride today, with nothing more engaging than the back of my fag packet to read. Mood not enhanced when someone gets on & sits at the front with a copy of 'Brunel, the Man who bult the world'. :-(
-
A visit to Marcway & now I have no excuse not to join the EMGS - but i'd hate to drag down their standards! :-)
-
Aaagh, finally managed to source 10.5mm wheelsets online. Would have been easier to have gone hang gliding on a washing machine!
-

Back to basics. Enjoying the simple pleasure of watching my Pannier on a train set oval whilst running in!
-
Belle Vue 39, Dudley Heathens 52. The lads were rampant at Kirky Lane, the K.O. Cup's coming home this year!
-
bought 'Modelling Scotland's Railways' last Saturday. I now need to apologise profusely to Mr. Futers - I should have bought one years ago!
-
Came home today with a Hornby EMT 'brick', which doesn't exactly fit in with my cliched GWR stock. How did that happen??
-
currently has a Triang EM2 sat on his laptop. Why did i buy it? - have absolutely no use for it, but, it is nice! :-)
-
Daughter took me shopping today :-) Somehow i came home with a 4'x1' mdf offcut & associated 2"x1". How did that happen? - I must be (making) a plank!
-
Daughters contact visit with her mother today was made all the more bearable for me thanks to a lucky find of MRJ206 in a nearby charity shop ;-)
-
EM points built & now fettled, 1st 2 items of rolling stock regauged. Something wrong here, I'm actually doing some modelling!

Farewell Sir Jack.

Finally acquired a copy of GWRJ 54 today to satisfy my curiosity re: the Worcester vinegar branch. Stunned to find its proximity to Padmore Street, a place i've visited on many occasion. Surprised so much can still be traced on Google maps, something tells me I may be waylaid for a couple of hours next time I'm in that city!
