  1. On the subject of parcel delivery. Just this afternoon had a parcel delivered by my hermes { not Hatton's related }. by a dodgey looking bloak you would not like to open the door to. A book box set i won on Ebay well packed by the seller but still arrived damaged in transit.Give me Royal Mail every time I have had a heck of a lot of parcels delivered and have sent by them with no problems what so ever over the years and am well pleased with there service and have never had a bad postman in the 20 years at my currant address

  7. Hornby B1 Sir Harold Mitchell Excellent boxed £99.50 { make an offer } £85.00 inc not a brilliant low price but not bad. Superb looking locomotive one of Hornby's best

HI Just to add my bit.most of the second hand stuff in Auto-Loco i had a look at when in there was tat priced at crazy prices. there must have been about 600 old magazines also priced at a daft asking price. Food and good beer the two life boats at the bottom of the high street well recommended

  10. Ray I think using blue tack to hold small parts is a great idea of yours
  11. Bachmann weathered Austerity 15 bids on got it for £75.00 inc Last night at 11.13 England match on tv mite have helped.

  15. Yes your right my friend Sorry about that. I had a couple of Lima 31s witch had good motors and ran very nice. Only have one Hornby 31 now BR Green syp looks good to my eye and runs superb. { After cutting the belt fan drive off }
  16. No. It has a better motor Hornby rebuilt spec not the old Lima motor. there in the Railroad range but not cheap £50-£60 a lot about so mite come down in price to clear

  18. The 01 I got off Ebay from Hornby as damaged packaging has come and is in as new condition box also everything still sealed And runs superb £95.00 well spent
  19. You know I herd Bachmann had the J15 on the cards. And left it for Hornby We have waited so long for a J15 RTR i do hope it comes along
  20. The J15 I think is going to be a hell of a seller if they get it right. A loco for here there and every wear. Lets hope for the best. Mind you i do have two on order
  21. Yes my friend Have a b17 Thorpe Hall superb loco runs like a swiss watch. b1 next when this months wages go's in bank D16 and J15 on pre order. K1 or L1 christmas present with luck. All BR late crest for me like to have a Green diesel run every now and then a nice brush

Hi. if any one is interested there's a Hornby 01 late crest clearance on Ebay at the moment { damaged boxes } £95.00 all in say it quick but not bad more then 10 available just ordered one after watching a review on yotube was saving for a b1 but this loco looks superb on a long freight could not resist one
  23. I got an original Airfix BR suburbun from him { better then the new Dapol model IMO } boxed and as new for £12.00 free p&p well pleased with the buy

  25. Just been reading books on Norfolk and Suffolk railways { The mid-Suffolk light Peter Paye } As you say this loco turns up every were. I find it strange we have had to wait so long for a RTR loco of this class. I hope Hornby get this model done some time a long wait a head i think through. Shame I think that Bachmann did not take it up there J11 is a superb little loco Chris
