Thanks to a link from David Calderwood on another site, he has advised that there are now right hand drive 1/148 scale Scania 141R cabs available from Benny Soehave:-
https://www.shapeways.com/product/76ERBV6JY/2-spare-cabs-for-rhd-scania-140-in-uk-n-scale
Thanks for that, those cabs will be useful, hopefully will fit on a BT or ODC chassis or even one of the Tomytec trucks.

Anyone have any pics of R Parker’s kits theyve built up? Just curious as I like model vehicles as much as railways
They make up into nice models.....Jag in the first image Mk1 Transit in the second. I have the LWB Transit and Ambulance too.

That's great. I hope they're made available in 1:148 scale and from Shapeways. I'll be able to order them when I place an order for a Volvo F10 truck.

I’ve asked the question.
They had a long production 1983 to 1998.

Just had an email from RailNscale.....Peugeot 205 coming soon.

Flooring for the Railway room being fitted on Thursday.......so Friday will see me start to bring the layout back home and assembled fully for the first time in over two years. Yippee!
In the mean time I’ve started to get some of my collection of Railway and bus signs unwrapped and mounted on the walls.
Flying Scotsman was passing through today enroute from Scarborough to Paddington. Here she is at Towthorpe Lane on the edge of Haxby, York.

Hi Andy,
I have my copy of your ER book. I really like it. It looks like a train spotters album , a little different from 'professional' photos, but I prefer yours because it shows some areas and locos 'warts 'n'all'. There are some cracking views that include lineside clutter and fabulous weathering of both stock and the general railway area... am considering purchasing the MR book too.
Cheers
Many thanks Duncan, the warts n all views was my intention. I try to get photos from locations that are less well know.....well to me anyway.
I’m very pleased with MR book, more so than the the ER one to be honest.

The next book in the series has been returned after proof reading. This is the cover, miles better than the ER one, in fact my favorite so far. This should be out in July.

I will be doing a bit of a book signing at the Sutton Locomotive Works stand at the York show on Sunday.

At other times I will be manning the Monk Bar Models stand at the exhibition.
There will be another book signing during May in the NRM Great Hall....details to follow.
I’m pleased with the photo reproduction on this book, the Midland Region one has just gone back after proof reading and I’ll post a copy of the cover and details separately.

Still no progress with Olympia although our new garage is now secure so it will be moving a bit closer to home shortly.
My Eastern Region book was out on the 16/4/19 and the Midland Region book has just been sent in after proof reading. I’m pleased with the cover, no cropping issues this time.
I will be doing a book signing at the York Model Railway Show on Sunday at the SLW stand.....at other times I can be found at the Monk Bar Model shop stand where I now have a part time job.

Looks better than on Osbournes website. Nice model.
A trawl through the Interweb shows several suitable liveries available including WHSmiths. The BR Express Parcels version I found looks like a higher roof version.
