    Dozy me I forgot to add that I model in O gauge and it's a 7mm project I'm researching And it's the Northern England/Scotland train I'm researching so i think that it's ex-LMS stock.

    I'm annoyed that Royal Mail were happy to take my friends money for a guaranteed next day special delivery knowing full well that there was no guarantee it would get there. They never even told him that there could be a delay. But they still charged him the full price.

      I did tell him that he should go back and complain and claim a full refund. But she is apparently a bit of a battle axe!

      We've had a lot of problems with Parcelforce Global Express this year. Check to make sure your Post Office's postcode is eligible...

      It is eligible mate. I know my parcel turned up only a day late and like I said previously my gripe is not aimed at the posties themselves. It's aimed at the counter staff who just took the money and didn't say anything. Why should I pay for a premium service and not receive it? That's my complaint.

    May I just make an apology to any posties offended by this statement. It wasn't aimed at the boys and girls who do the deliveries more at the powers that be that are happy to take the money for a next day delivery realizing it won't get there next day!

    Plodding on mate, but thanks for asking. Still juggling work, college, wifes illness and my hobby but good. The layout is slowly progressing and I've made myself a member of the local club. Have you progressed Holyhead yet?
